Decided to stop here during our weekend outing. This is our first visit to the Florida Antique Mall. At first glance, one would think it would be a waste of time, as the strip mall it resides in seems run down and just a hair shy of being bull dozed and apartments put up in its place; however, we were pleasantly surprised. They did not greeted us upon entry, but the people behind us were, which is about the same thing, I guess. This place reminds me more of a flea market or swap meet, but does have a good number of antiques. The place is pretty big and they are currently looking to open a second side at the beginning of the year, so for those of you old timers, like myself, be sure to take your pain pills and arthritis cream, as it took us about 2 hours to walk through the one side that was open. Unfortunately, we did not find that had to have item, but did enjoy seeing a lot of items we had never seen before. The staff were very friendly and we even spoke with a couple vendors on the floor. I would definitely recommend you stop on by, as we will make this place a yearly...
Read moreI am impressed with the way things are set up. Very nice. My only suggestion is, like in other antique shops and malls , there are usually lockers at the front of the store with a key and stretchy cord. That way it’s MORE of a guarantee that make it mostly impossible for anyone to steal items. Even smaller items such as necklaces etc. I’ve been to other places and I love it. I don’t need to carry my purse, which sometimes in a place with antiques I could knock something over and break it,, even though it’s a mistake. Still,, I really wish your place can get some. I know they have monitors that are watching the store on video but this feature is really a wonderful way to go!! Please, please give it some thought as I want to rent a booth with many items and jewelry too. I don’t prefer the glass locked cabinets. Thank you for your service and time. Sincerely,...
Read moreMy husband and I (proudly in our 50s) had a blast wandering through this incredible antique mall. It’s the kind of place where every corner has a surprise—something for every generation.
Our 80-year-old mom snagged the cutest Americana necklace, we picked up Trump coins and some quirky beanies for our twenty-something kids, and the highlight? A Walt Disney World castle playhouse for our soon-to-be 3-year-old granddaughter.
It was like walking through a time machine—equal parts treasure hunt and nostalgia trip. We laughed our way down the aisles, spotting everything from childhood toys to retro oddities. A perfect mix of memories, mischief, and multigenerational...
