Alton Square — Attraction in Irvine

Alton square gets very busy during dinner time especially pedestrian traffic going through parking lot, but I like lunchtime the best and it's always an enjoyable experience. My favorite place here is Donut Star. Most young people that wait on you here make you feel welcome and are super friendly. Also in the square is a clean McDonald's with fast counter service and friendly mgrs. A highlight of this square are the cute small tables&chairs that run along the small restaurants facing the parking lot. Many people were reading or with family having a meal. Other people were walking down the pathway with their dogs that were newly groomed at one of the shops along the walkway. If you confront someone habitually smoking and yelling at people who ask him to stop over a period of weeks, don't bother reporting it to their security director, because they'll do nothing to resolve the issue. They claimed that they were having a security guard remain in the area while this person was on property, but that never happened. The one time that a security guard did appear, I saw him laughing and joking with the guy and fist bumping him while the guy was screaming and pointing at people in the shops while threatening to attack them if they complained again. This Is a great shopping center. Especially if you were looking to buy groceries at Ralph's. They have a Ralph's here. It's claims it's a full Ralph's and not a Ralph's Fresh Faire. Although it totally is the same as the Fresh Faire. At least that's what I think. You may feel totally different. You may not even want to grocery shop. Which is fine because you can do other things in this shopping center. I don't remember the other stores because I only went to Ralph's.
