Love Chronic Irvine takes it to the next level. It's like a food playground where you get to be the master chef of your own meal. You choose what goes in, what stays out, and they somehow manage to make it taste even better than your wildest dreams. It's like they have a secret ingredient called "food wizardry."
And here's a pro tip: if you're worried about finding a place to sit and enjoy your culinary masterpiece, fear not! Just do what I do and take it home. That way, you can have a private party with your burrito without any judgmental stares from strangers. Plus, you can wear your stretchy pants and truly indulge in all the burrito goodness.
Oh boy, this thing is a work of art. It's like the Mona Lisa of burritos. The combination of flavors is mind-blowing. The perfectly cooked grilled shrimp dances harmoniously with the flavorful beans. They're so big that you might need a forklift to lift them. Okay, maybe not a forklift, but you get the idea. They're substantial, satisfying, and they'll keep you fueled for hours. It's like having a food buddy that never lets you down.
But the real cherry on top of this burrito-filled extravaganza is the staff. Seriously, these guys are the real MVPs. No matter which Love Chronic Irvine location you visit, they're always in a good mood. I suspect they have a secret stash of happiness hidden in the kitchen. They're friendly, helpful, and they genuinely care about making your dining experience top-notch. Just be prepared to fall head over heels in love with their food, their customization options, and their amazing staff. It's a burrito love story...
Read moreThe minute I saw that they had potato tacos on the menu with various options to customize with toppings, the decision was made to order takeout for lunch. I've never been here before, but I think it's the closest and reasonably price taco place near me. Plus, the delivery fee on Uber Eats was $0.49 at the time.
I ended up picking up 2 potato tacos with the works (guacamole, cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, sour cream and baja sauce). The baja sauce ended up being a little overwhelming and the tomatoes tasted more like a pico de gallo, but overall, everything really hit the spot for me. The tacos were super crispy and although it was a mess to eat, I'm pretty sure I inhaled this in less than 5 minutes lol.
I also got the California burrito with carnitas, black beans, guacamole, cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, salsa verde and sour cream. The tacos filled me up, but I did eat this for dinner. They really filled the burrito with meat and it was flavorful.
I really do enjoy the option where you can customize your topping at no additional cost. I thought the portions were quite large and filling - they definitely don't seem to skimp! I'm interested in trying their chronic fries next time or the surf & turf...
Read moreI've never had a problem with chronic taco in mission viejo, service is Awesome and the food is always fresh. However my family just moved to Irvine and last night (2/1/13) we decided to get a late dinner, just before they closed. I ordered a carne asada torta where the guacamole tasted old n sour, but I'm fine just wasn't able to finish it. My brother on the other hand ordered a fish taco which at first tasted fine to him, but he said the fish was not fresh. We did see him fry the fish, but something was definitly wrong. Since last night till this morning he has been non- stop vomiting from both ends, so now we are taking him to Hoag/Irvine because he claims he feels like he's dying :/ poor guy. Since he had an empty stomach this fish taco did him dirty. So I guess don't order food too late from this location or you'll be paying the price. On an another I called the manager Horacio to let him know and he simply acted like no harm done said "ok well do what you have to do" and an attitute like ITi dont give a s@&t attitute. Gees we even...
