Bare Waxing and Laser — Attraction in Irvine

I don't know even where to start. This is the review just right after I went to the waxing place in the morning today. Before I go to this place(oc waxing - irvine branch), I looked up all the reviews on yelp and google and booked the waxer who has good reviews, but this effort totally becames useless, because they are matching me with different waxer without any notice or apology. I didn't know before I started waxing but I asked her name while getting the waxing because she was very unkind and indifferent.

I asked her about something on the agreement paper before waxing because I misunderstood sth, but she was just staring at me and then gave me an unpleasant attitude like why don't you understand lol

She never tried to ask or check if I'm okay or anything.I'm kept mentioning wax is too hot almost 5-6times. But when she just kept waxing me in the silence when I almost begged for her to lower down temperature. I swear to god, my first time waxing is so much better than this. This is the worst painful waxing I ever had(ok, this is fine, maybe my fault which is she said I came back too late) Plus, my Brazilian waxing time was supposed to be 30min but she's just done with it within 10min or so. The last time, I visited here with a different waxer, she was slowing down and tried to pull the hair little by little(she asked me first if it's okay to take long but less painful). But this woman seems like just wanted to get it done as soon as possible. Additionally, I don't mind small talk but she never tried to make me feel comfortable. Just ignored my mumbling(hurt, or hot) and never even smiled. It was super uncomfortable and awkward.

I never leave a bad review like this. If I have a bad experience with a restaurant or any other place, I just usually move on. but I had to leave a review because this is related to the body directly and this place seems to be not objectively rated on yelp. (Even one star is not worthy for today's experience) I don't want to call it out that waxer in here, but I was wondering if I met a different person because there are good recent reviews with her name a few days ago. I'm pretty shocked since she never gave me a warm/kind/sweet attitude like other people said. She just looked annoyed and bothered while doing waxing Hopefully, this review is helpful for other people and is a chance to get their service to be improved. and please make sure to check your waxer's name before getting the waxing in case they'll change your waxer...

Kylie is literally the best. Not overstating or exaggerating. This is the place I came to when I first started getting waxed and I had appointments with a few other waxists here before meeting Kylie, but after I met her I’ve only been making appointments with her. Even though I was a little shy at first, she made me feel so comfortable and it was like she’s my friend. She’s so kind, friendly, and fun. Waxing is obviously a little painful and I can get tense so I didn’t necessarily look forward to it every month but having Kylie as my waxist made it so much better. I’m so sad that I’m moving away and won’t be coming back anymore but I hope this review encourages someone to check this place out and get...

Obsessed with Brandi. This was by far my most fun waxing experience ever. I connected with Brandi. She was sweet, kinda and easy to talk too. We are human so sometimes you connect with people and sometimes you don’t, and that’s fine. But my waxing experience was amazing, she communicated as she was removing my hair. I love hard waxing (my opinion) I was able to change to hard wax only versus hot. Brandi was Letting me know where I needed more exfoliating and the areas that are just stubborn, hate those stubborn hairs but ain’t nobody got time for dat. Overall I loved Brandi. I want her for now on with every service I book moving...
