Jannys Donuts — Restaurant in Irvine

I called this morning 3 times to order ahead so I could reward my Saturday morning crew and 3 times the person there hung up. So I go there in person and the doors were locked, so I tapped on the glass and the person inside points to his watch and throws his hands in the air with this don't bother me attitude, all this occurring well after the time they should be opened. Well there are two things I will never do again the first is never make a promise when you have to rely on a third party the other is I will never go to Janny's donuts. The quality of certain items have declined. Another issue is if use debt or credit they want you to have a minimum purchase amount of $3.00 to use a debt or credit card so if you buy something that costs less they won't give you change. Keep in mind that there isn't a fee they just refuse to give you change. Why should I be forced to give anyone something...

This place is my go-to when buying donuts for the office. They're open early and their donuts are amazing (from what I hear from my coworkers ;), and from a donut that I had tried). You can't go wrong with a mixed dozen (or two, or three).

The ham & cheese jalapeno croissant is worth getting as well, this is my favorite place to get it. Delicious, cheesy, and enough jalapenos to warm up your taste buds. It's best to go in the morning when it's hot and fresh. If not, they can heat it up for you! Speaking of the morning, they open at 4AM, which is perfect for someone who works early like myself.

Aside from the usual donut store items, they also have Bang energy drinks and other miscellaneous beverages in the fridge to the immediate right when you enter.

Saw the high ratings online and since they are close to my home , I decided to give them a try. Went today arriving at about 9am. WOW 😳 the BEST tasting donuts I have ever enjoyed!!! The Cronuts are first rate. The Crullers are moist and yummy like they should be. The Orange flavored Icing is Fantastic!! Sweet and tangy rich!! The Vanilla iced cake donut with multicolored sprinkles was THE BEST cake I’ve ever had !!!! Definitely one of my favorites. But the star of the show is their Wonderful Glazed Donuts . AMASSING!!
