Levy Event Plaza — Attraction in Irving

The Event Ground provided an unforgettable 4th of July celebration, boasting an impressive fireworks display and a standout drone lighting show. The latter was a delightful surprise - modern technology blended with traditional celebration, a treat to watch!

The event ground was spacious, maintaining comfort despite the heavy turnout. But, do be prepared for crowds. The ground buzzed with people, and while the sense of community was heartening, a bit more organization could have helped manage the throngs better.

One downside was the distant parking - it was quite a trek from the event site, making it slightly inconvenient for attendees. There was a shuttle service available but it wasn't able to handle the surge of people leaving the event ground at once after the show.

Overall, the Event Ground delivered a memorable night of celebration, albeit with room for improvement in crowd management and parking. Recommended for the spectacular fireworks and drone show, but come prepared for a...

2023 post: We came to support our friend again. The were way more stalls giving all sorts of swag. My kiddos had a blast checking out the food and watching the dragon boat festival. There are people flying kites. There is a stage with singing and dancing. I wish the event was just a few weeks later so the weather would be cooler but all in all, another great event at Levy event Plaza!

2022 post: We came to support a friend participating in the Dragon boat festival. We have never been to the Levy event Plaza but it was well organized. Parking was easy to find and there was security all around. Over all I almost forgot we still had Covid going around because it felt like such a normal event. While the Dragon boat festival is held at different venues, we will definitely come back to check out the Levy Event Plaza...

Sadly My Fiance and I missed the event by going to the location on the wrong night Friday, I had to work Thursday. But apparently it was a totally different experience than what people are used to. We did walk around the canal area for a little while, and waited for the fireworks to start. I just wished the information that we had been given had been better.
