When we arrived there was no one there to greet us. When we figured it out ourselves where to check in, the lady had been sitting at a table the whole time and never looked at us and definitely did not greet us. She never looked at my id or the card I used for booking. She handed us random life jackets that were definitely too small and said we didn't need to wear them they just had to be in the duck with us. That whole check in process was the first ugh moment. The second was the struggle to get the damn duck away from the loading area. Took us what felt like 20 minutes too long. We kept running into docks on both sides. Finally a lady told us that the duck is harder to maneuver with just two people because all of the weight is in the front which lifts the rudder out of the water. After the frustration with steering we finally got out to the opening of the lake. It was a nice day and the peddling troubles were very laughable, but the customer experience and lack of care from the employee was frustrating. I would not do it as a duo with the duck and recommend if you want to try it yourself to have at least 3 if not 4 when...
