Read moreSo beautiful and scenic. Great place for a run, walk, or leisurely stroll. A lot of dining options to just hangout and relax with friends or family, your significant other, with your pets, or just go solo. Definitely a pet friendly environment. I felt safe just walking around, and it was lovely being out in the open with the waterfront on one side and apartments/restaurants/businesses surrounding. Lots of benches to rest at along the entire way. There's valet if needed, but there is also plenty of parking around the entire canal walk. Also, if you want to get pictures done, this is a great place to get outdoor shots with plenty of inspiration, natural props, and backgrounds. It's truly giving San Antonio Riverwalk mixed with Legacy West (Plano) with Addison (Dallas) vibes. So much aesthetic! I even saw someone set up a huge "MARRY ME?" sign to propose to their significant other. Really nice place next to major highways, the Toyota Music Factory, etc. I've added this as one of my favorite places to go after a big meal and walk off the calories. Just wear good shoes. It ain't a short walk to do the...

Venetian Terrace Restaurant is open Monday through Friday for lunch and the aroma of the food coming from this place is heavenly. The canal walk is like a place plucked right out of a movie. There are concrete benches in different locations along the walk where you can sit and have lunch, read a book or just take in the view. Although there are mostly business people occasionally standing here and there talking, this seems to be a fantastic place to meditate. There are also people walking, riding bikes, sitting in various locations, the and I myself, choose to skate. I skated to the bridge at Smith Landing and fantasized about living in the surrounding area. That's how beautiful it is here. I can honestly say this is a place that I will definitely come to again and again just to get some peace, relaxation and quite. I recommend coming here any time. Oh, one thing. The parking...
