Lake Carolyn — Attraction in Irving

One of my favorite places to run or take a stroll. It's clean, it has nice views, is safe and very serene. The lake is hidden from the main road and nestled behind all the new upscale las colinas rich-o-mindiums. Walking distance from the Toyota Music Center.

One of the best places to watch the fireworks in Irving as well. Also the lake offers canoeing, paddle boarding, gondola rides and dinner cruises. Romantic idea alert right?

There are many hotels, spas, restaurants and shopping establishments surrounding the lake as well. Trust me you'll enjoy it. Bring your walking shoes.

CT native visiting in March 2024 and found this area to be beautiful. As others noted, lots of restaurants, beautiful homes, lots of folks walking, running, enjoying the outdoors. But please note. In AllTrails it says it's a loop, it's not in that in some areas the trail just ends so you need to figure out where to pick it up again. On my stroll I saw an area where you can rent pedal boats, spots for coffee, people watching, romantic strollers, dog walkers, kids enjoying family time. I love so much this place... it is good to go an anytime in the day. Perfect to go with your couple, or even if you want to enjoy a little time alone... the people around there is so nice and you can also go to a good restaurant. Perfect for going to run or just in bicycle... it’s the most beautiful lake...
