This establishment has competition from other Latin-American and Caribbean's restaurants the area. Even though the local LatAm restaurants are primarily from Caribbean LatAm countries (DR, PR, Cuba and Haiti) which is different from Mexican and Central American cuisine, since it is still lump in the LatAm cuisine category it fails stand out

The rosterrie chicken was dry. You can find a better rosterrie at a Peruvian restaurant in Elizabeth or a Brazilian restaurant in Newark. The shrimp tacos are alright. Is it fresh or frozen shrimp...well that's up in the air. The steak burrito was vey good. The steak was juicy and flavorful. The rice and beans was good too. I've only been to Tacos Mexican twice so my opinion on the food may change later.

Wow wow wow. Thankful. Just very thankful I came across this place & decided to drop in. My boyfriend ordered the Birria tacos & I ordered the beef barbacoa tacos. I wish I ordered the birria tacos because I gobbled down 2 of my boyfriends before even touching my own. The tacos were cooked to perfection & both were packed with meat it was amazing! I definitely want to go back & try dining in this time instead of take out. I’m a little iffy with condiments on my tacos & the cashier was so kind to put All sides for the tacos packed so neatly and filled to the top for you to put as much or as little as you’d like to add in your taco. I truly appreciate the effort in brining me an amazing dinner tonight. We will be back! I ordered twice from this place on DoorDash. Issue #1: Change the menu to accurately reflect what it is that you are serving. I asked for a Steak Quesadilla. When you typically order a Steak Quesadilla, it has the steak inside of the tortillas along with melted cheese. You guys serve a tortilla folded together with cottage cheese (Wrong Cheese) inside with a slice of steak on the side. Why is the steak not even in the Quesadilla? Issue #2: I ordered Chicken Tacos and received Chorizo Tacos instead. I know they both start with a Ch but this kind of mix up is unacceptable. My family does not eat pork, so we were left trying to split up the rest of the food while sausage tacos that we paid for had to go in the trash.
