Elite Boat Rentals — Attraction in Islamorada

It's not always how a company acts when things are going good, but what they do when it goes bad. Rented a boat for this first time from them for a total of two weeks. Was looking at many companies online and some for a cheaper price, but the boats appeared to be not as good of shape as Elite had. I showed up and they went over all the safety devices and electronics very well. Boat was in good shape, clean, and had just been service because of my long rental. All was great until second week,, while morning fishing, the boat would not idle properly. We came to the marina and explained what was happening. After they quickly looked it over, they decided to keep it and see if they could fix it. Matt without question or an extra charge placed us in another brand new boat and sent us on our way all which took only 15 or so minutes. The next day the original boat was fixed so they called us and we got back into that one as it was more suited for offshore fishing. Two days went by with no issues, then it acted up again and would barely idle. We brought it back, frustrated and annoyed. But without question they placed us in a much bigger and nicer boat without an extra charge for the rest of the rental. As a boat owner I understand there are issues with boats that happen that cannot be avoided or predicted. Elite rentals did the right thing both times without hesitation so my family and friends could enjoy our trip we have been looking forward to for over a year and traveled over 1200 miles to enjoy. Even though the one boat had issues, it was great to know that we could back on the water in hardly anytime at all. Would definitely recommend using them to anyone. We rented the Pursuit 265 for 4 days, and it was by FAR the best rental boat ive had in the keys over the last 15 years. We had 11 people on the boat, there was plenty of storage, seating space, and all the power we needed. The boat was exceptionally clean, in great shape, and worked as well as a personally owned boat. Extremely effecient on fuel as well.

Most rentals have a ton of wear and tear, faded logos on the sides, underpowered, or have simply lacked maintenance. I will not rent from anyone else in Islamorada as long as Elite is around.

Pick up, drop off, everything was an absolute breeze with this company. Ive rented from places in Key Largo, Islamorada, Marathon, & Key West, and I assure you this spot will not be beat.

Great equipment, Great Staff and great fun! We rented a Sea Hunt 23' CC from Elite for a week. We had a couple of issues with the GPS not finding us when it first started up, but the staff were very responsive and helped out with that issue. The boat was fully equipped and was top notch. Radar, touchscreen Chartplotter/fishfinder, nice cushions, nice dock lines, all gear needed to safely boat and it was all nicely kept. We went fishing every day, and the boat did great in every condition we met. Never any issues with the motor or boat that caused us to worry at all.

I would definitely use Elite rentals again and would recommend that others use them as well. Ryan, Chris and all of the other staff were just great. We went to them to get fuel, ice, bait and merch and they were fantastic every time.
