Very appreciative that they were able to fix my grandmother's 80 year old necklace however, when I picked it up there were 4 stones missing even though when checked in it was noted in the work order that 2 stones were missing. When asked about the situation there was no offer to fix or even any responsibility taken. I was met with the notion that I was incorrect and that there was no possibility the other missing stones where due to the repair. Remember, when the piece was checked in we inspected it and it was noted in the work order. This piece although not diamonds is extremely important to me. Don't they think I know every part of this necklace? Fixed the link, lost 2 stones, no offer to correct. Very disappointed.
After receiving that response with no accountability and minimizing the piece which does not contain one ounce of plastic but made from heavy materials , there is no way I would bring a dollar store dog collar to your business. Experiences and word of mouth are a business's best references.
Photos added to show documentation of indicated number of stones missing at drop off and quality of the piece although not worth thousands of dollars, is not a cheap, plastic item as suggested.
*80 year old piece equals 80 year old glue sounds like an admission of responsibility to me. I simply wanted a sentimental piece to wear to my son's wedding and someone that would respect that.
Again very disappointed with the missing stones, no accountability even though documentation exists and an invitation to never return to...
Read moreBEWARE OF THIS ESTAMBLISTMENT. 2years ago after returning from overseas we bought my mother a Rolex watch from Dubai and brought it to this shop to be sized. The jewelers were in awe over the watch being "a really nice piece". This week my mother brought the watch in as the band came a little loose. The watch man proceeded to DESTROY the watch and put scratches on the face telling my mom "it's a 40$knock off". We paid over 10,000$ in Dubai for this watch from the Rolex jewler and these jewelers took it upon themselves to destroy a watch and accuse my mother of having a fake watch they were in awe over 2 years back. These men are a scam. They will ruin your jewelry and refuse to fix their mistakes. Please beware.
Update* Now owners are stating this has been a fake watch. Although 2 years prior acknowledged what a real watch this is. After DESTROYING the watch they change their stories. Please beware of this place. You will truly regret it after your items are ruined. I will happily contact the original Rolex jeweler where the watch was purchased and advise them they are being accused of selling fakes from a Jackson MI jeweler with "47 years of...
Read moreWe have brought 2 very special family heirlooms to Gold Crown Jewelers (on separate occasions) they did a fantastic job with both! Fair pricing too! A very old and treasured wrist watch, gifted down from 4 generations. The watch was in need of refurbishing, as it didn't keep time or wind up. It also needed a good cleaning. The watch took about 2 weeks to get back to us and it was great in every way! There is a personal engraving on the back of the watch and I told the repair guy to please be careful to leave the engraving unscathed during the cleaning process, and they did just that! A 3rd generation bridal set we brought in for resizing and inspection/repair. The ring had to be sized from a 5 to a 7 and the points on the main diamond setting were completely worn off. We got the ring back in about 10 days and it came back with more brilliance than it went in with....
