5 Points Farm — Attraction in Jacksonville

Pulled up to this unassuming home on a residential street expecting to see a farm like Old McDonalds. To my surprise we walked into farming for the future with plants growing without soil! The room was filled with 47 water towers, filtered water system, temperature and humidity controlled air, lighting system and most unexpectedly, music played specifically to help the plants grow and their enjoyment. This place is such a gem to have in our neighborhood! We passed by it on our way to the Arts Market and stopped by on our stroll home. What an amazing place to get fresh produce anytime! They have a wonderful variety of herbs, lettuce, peppers, marigolds and so much more readily available for them to pick fresh for you. Wonderful place! Small and a little hard to find at first, can't lie, but they make up for it in quality and customer service. The plants growing in the back serve as a nice backdrop while they talk you through who they are and what they do. My picky-eater son actually enjoyed all the samples we tried, which is amazing!!
