I think this place a Very nice place to relax...why because its so big with very nice view Ground clean thats a big 5 start for me . Great day for a picnic. I truly recommend this place , this is one of my favorite place i like to come in the middle of the day when the sun is not so hot. I come with a few snack, a blanket an books if my choice an i just relax. Always bring pepper spray because you never know who might be watching. The place has nothing to do with that but , sometime we have crazy people in this world. But there no so much trees it suck a bit but its doesn't change the fact is a nicer place. But i do wish there were. Like tables an chair here. Because maybe you might want to write an just relax. But what i don't like is how hard those benches is. Supporter unconformable.. Need places like if it rain your day wont get messed up either. I still like that its a very nice simple place where you can enjoy your day if the sun shining on you with cool air an...

Should those not drive on the road instead of a park?). People lack respect for families, little kids playing, walkers/runners and others who try to enjoy this park. Original post (2020): A truly favorite spot for outdoor time. Right by the river, big grass area for picnic or games, plenty of shady areas as well. I love the wonderful diverse groups visiting this park. Great for a stroll or a run or yoga. Some come to fish, juggle or tight-rope walks. Many use for photo opportunities or celebrations or events. Some visitors litter a bit too much and are inconsiderate of others. THANK YOU to all the Memorial Park supporters and city workers caring for this and...

The substantial sculpture is back dropped by the St. Johns River making for a wonderful photo opportunity. The open grass area is great for a picnic or tossing a frisbee. Restoration is still underway from extensive hurricane damage a...
