Update 8/8: Another text from Ashley stating they were still following the backordered items. I called Corporate and complained and told them I had done this review. Guess what all of a sudden NOW I can go and get my cover and two pillows...SMH.
Notice there is no response on here from Ashley either only the positive reviews get a response?????
Update 7/30: Still no pillows or mattress cover. Got a text from Ashley yesterday with no EDD on the text.
The mattress was delivered last Tuesday. Thank God we bought a frame somewhere else and had it in place and ready to place mattress on it.
I also noticed there is no response from Ashley Furniture about my post.
Husband and I went there after leaving the competition just up the road looking for a king size bedframe with storage and a mattress. The store only had a couple to actually see in person. We were told we could view a damaged one in Regency that had the kind of storage we wanted to see if we were interested. We decided to go with the one we saw on display at the Blanding store. Didnt think I needed to ask if it was available at the warehouse, apparently we should have. The frame was not readily available and apparently as of today 7/17 neither are the two pillows (Tempur - Pedic) or the cover for the 4k Tempur- Pedic mattress. We cancelled the order for the frame weekend last week because it appeared we were not getting it anytime soon. We are suppose to get our mattress next week. We were not expecting it in 3-4 days when we first went shopping but I think being upfront with customers about availability and delivery for large purchases like this should be a priority.
I thought "Ashley was the largest furniture store in the country."
We will not go back to there to shop, only to pick up our pillows and the cover which assists in the warranty on the bed.

Read moreI came into Ashley’s Furniture knowing exactly what I wanted, with delivery pricing already confirmed on their website, and expected the process to be straightforward. Unfortunately, my experience was the complete opposite.
The store associates took over 30 minutes applying discounts that they insisted I should be “happy” about, yet the numbers didn’t match the online prices. It turned out they had added a 5-year extended warranty and “white glove” delivery—without asking, offering, or explaining—raising the price by well over $1,000. Only after I questioned it was it removed.
Next, I was denied the advertised 0% APR financing beyond 24 months, even though I have an Ashley’s card and the signage in the store clearly showed it as an option. When I finally agreed to move forward, the associate told me my Ashley’s Synchrony account was “closed” and ran new applications through Wells Fargo and another company after telling me he reapplied at synchrony and it was denied (A UNNECESSARY LIE). Later, I confirmed directly with Synchrony that my account was never closed—it had simply been paused for security and was reactivated immediately.
The result: I left without furniture, after being pressured into higher costs I never agreed to, misled about my financing options, and left with an unnecessary hard inquiry on my credit report.

From the moment we walked into Ashley Furniture, we were greeted by Tameika Myers, a new sales associate with a glowing personality and a 100% customer service-driven approach. She welcomed us warmly and let us know right away that she was new to the team — but you never would have guessed it by her confidence and professionalism.
I mentioned that we were in the early stages of shopping for a new mattress, planning to visit a couple more stores before making our purchase by Memorial Day. Tameika immediately started showing us options, beginning with a top-of-the-line Tempur-Pedic mattress. While conferring with her colleague, we looked at several other mattresses, after which Jonathon Anderson stepped in to assist.
This young man was EXTREMELY knowledgeable, sharing valuable information and asking open-ended questions that helped us narrow down what we truly needed and wanted in a mattress — and just as importantly, what we did not.
This tag team was a complete SUCCESS. We walked in to browse but left knowing without a doubt that we made the perfect decision for us. More than that, we left feeling valued and taken care of. The level of attention, professionalism, and customer service we received was top-tier.
