Counterspell Games — Local services in Jacksonville

Stopped by today and looked through the yugioh singles which is my secondary card card game at this point. Was disappointed they had no pokemon singles. The yugioh singles binder was mostly empty and mostly all the yugioh singles are shoved in boxes. Saw some good stuff I would have loved to pick up and even qcrs worth that would be worth some money in those boxes if they were near mint. Alot of the cards have very noticeable edge wear and some bent corners here and there. It was painful looking through it seeing this and I stopped alittle into the second box. Again found a decent amount of stuff I would have loved to pick up if they were in so much better condition. I did pick up a playset of swordsoul mo-ye and would have picked up the 2 swordsoul emergence from the same set but theres so many listing's around $2 and they still wanted about $4 a piece for them. The guy said he has to go on tcgplayer market value only dispite the card going down in value becuase he's specially is table top games and the other worker is the one who handles card games. Ok that's understandable. I asked how often do they actually go through and actually take care of their yugioh singles stock as it hurt seeing all the damaged cards and he said almost never. I feel like that's negligence on the shop's end and Linda shows they don't really care. It's enough to make me not want to come back. Some real effort should be put in rather than just throwing stock in boxes and allowing stock to just get damaged and customers being disappointed. As some one who loves and enjoys the card.games I play I don't.see.any love or passion being put into them...

I was looking for Yu-Gi-Oh all over town and there are a few spots I frequently go to and have for years but I just recently found this place AND it's only 5 minutes from my house! The owner is cheerful, delightful, knowledgeable and takes very good care of customers.
