⚠️Hp Envy 6155e & serial # beginning Th4A⚠️ Feb 20 2025 I purchased Hp Envy6155e printer in store got it home and zoomed through the quick set up. The final steps are to register the device and asked for serial number. The app said my serial number was invalid. I attempted the # several more time still invalid. Checked the box and printer serial to see if they were the same and they were. Made sure all letters were capitalized, still invalid. Had a second person enter it, you get where this is going. Naturally I went to Hp site to get support, but you can not get customer service unless you enter your, you guessed it serial number. Even virtual chat with an agent with ask for this number and if you can not supply it they basically tell you this is all the help you needed. I tried to trick it and enter in other help needs but all avenues eventually ask for serial of the item you need help with or some other item number. After 2 hours of googling and finding hp community, reddit/quora etc search results with people in the same looper situation, I saw no one was getting a "valid" answer (pun intended). Returning to Hp site they suggested I find an Hp service location and Best Buy (the same place I had just purchased from was my place)was closest.I called and spoke to customer service and after holding while they looked up my serial number I was told it was "outdated" and all I could do was return it. I drove back and since this item was eligible for 14 day return they exchanged it no hassle. Got to my car and thought I am no fool let me enter this serial number in Hp before I pull off. Same thing, invalid serial number. Marched it back in and the customer service sat trying different things for about 20 minutes. To no avail and that is as far as they can move without the serial number as well. I got a full return. Back to the drawing board to research another model (I did not love epson or ink tanks because I am only an occasional printer). Just wanted to warn anyone purchasing this model. Both of my serial numbers began with TH4A. Giving Best Buy 5 🌟 because they did try to settling the issue and I did not walk away out a printer and money. PLEASE do your set up same...
Read moreBest buy is like dealing with overseas CUSTOMER SUPPORT because that's what happens. Have had so many devices in my 60+ years I know what I'm doing. Bought a DELL laptop for 700 bucks on sale and was told it was like setting up any other one I had. It is not. Comes loaded with Microsoft 365 and you can't get past it and they charge your credit card from store for this service not to mention to even set up it took 3 calls to dell support over 4 days and 13 hrs on the phone with ppl so hard to understand and I am very patient but it's horrible and I'm stripping it down , taking it back on day 9 as you only have 15 days to return and ordering one from hp or another maker where I have direct support for a year with purchase without all this frustrating situation... Was flat out lied to by the sales associate and I have some of it recorded as it was not making sense to me and sounded highly suspicious. Then a lady around my age was following us around almost the whole time trying to sell us gerk squad and it was in beyond harassing to where to employees told us , she always does that and there's nothing we can do. Will not have a need for best buy ever again and 2 of my grandchildren, one age 20 the other 17 was with me and they said they would never deal with best buy in there lives as they didn't need to or what the hassle and deception of best buy and of course like all younger ppl immediately took to social media to warn others and boy things get around a lot faster on social media and their generation doesn't need to go to best buy to get there tech needs and with all the hundreds of post I saw they really don't. PLEASE RECONSIDER your next purchase of a PC or laptop from best buy. .wish I had and BTW -WITH THEIR LAPTOPS YOU HAVE TO TAKE THEM OUT OF SAFE MODE TO GET TO ANY TOOLS AND GAMESTORE ETC and if you have a issue like a virus it can never get fixed!!! These are the products best buy is selling the unsuspecting customers ... Plz herd...
Read moreAvoid Bella Pro products - expensive and have no support through their company or BB. MIND YOU a Best Buy “exclusive” product with ZERO actual customer support. BB washes their hands like Pontus pilot and Bella pro literally says they only have the stuff they put in the box. You ask for the carafe manufacturer - they won’t give it to you. They say to “Google it” Not looking for a handout just a product that has been vetted and has decent support options for your CUSTOMERS. I wanted to purchase one and maybe another extra , but instead it was reasonable to say “why don’t you replace the machine entirely?!” With that answer you either have terrible accounting skills or have more money than sense. It’s only a couple months old , no the unit does not need replacing 🤦♂️ A manufacturer knows they will have customer issues on the backend. BEST BUY is condoning and hiding behind their reduced return and exchange policies (not that I was even asking for a refund ) and Bella acts like someone who just got their business loan to set everything up. Amateur stuff all around. I will be canceling preorders. I literally get everything through here - lately stores have been showing me why AMAZON should win the commercial showdown. BB is slipping guess they want to go the way of circuit city - continue with that pride BB. // Also when I visited the store to try to speak with a manager I “ had” to go through the desk clerk first and then have them call for him. I separate waiting for him. I grab the Corp number just in case. Drew the “Manager” came up- she points at me - then I saw him walking back to the Apple section, no he wasn’t doing anything important in fact he stopped to check his phone. I think anyone with that wonderful interaction would know your not getting helped at all. I was on my break, I left before I got more agitated instead of chasing someone down I have no business...
