Yanet was very condescending and rude because I wanted a perm on already dyed hair. I had been taking a break from chemical processes for over 2 years and I understand my hair was not what she expected but nodding no while brushing my hair and sighing at everything was very unprofessional. I asked for a haircut of just the tips and instead got so much of my hair taken from me, and I could not stop her because I trusted her to know what she was doing. After I looked at my hair at home, I noticed uneven strands and a choppy look. She was also very rough on me even after I told her I was tender-headed. I was crying silently while she pulled on my hair with the most horrible attitude ever. While I prefer for stylists to tell me when something isn’t going to work on my hair, she did not present any options or products to get my hair up to par to what she needed. She discouraged me from going to other salons but I went to get a consultation at another salon and immediately got told that my hair was pretty healthy and we could do a perm after a protein treatment. I ended up having to cut more of my hair there as a result of the uneven cut and did get a perm. My hair is very healthy even after the perm because my stylist presented me with options to do a protein treatment before and during the perm. It was that simple and I am glad I trusted my instincts on the fact that Yanet just wasn’t comfortable doing perms because who know what my hair would have ended up like if I did come back after the protein treatment. I am not confrontational at all and would have rather listened to her but I’m glad I didn’t because I was very unhappy with how my hair turned out. I'm very upset right now. I just paid $85.00 for the worse relaxer! My hair is hard at my scalp and lumpy and it has,nothing to do with scars. Thankfully she did not burn me even though she stopped to talk with co-workers. The excuse i received when i complained about my hair being hard is that its always like that after a relaxer! That is a lie, i have had relaxers over 30 years i know lacking skills when i see it! If that wasn't bad enough, when it was time to take out my curlers, she was blow drying another employees hair and seriously expected me, a paying customer, to waiit! When i said i couldn't wait and started to take out my own curlers then she was available. I would rather travel all the way to Orlando for the day to see my old stylist than deal with this again! She offered to wash my hair but after being there for almost 4 hours because she had me in her book for 11 but told me 11:30 and i had to wait for her to come back, i told her no because i had things to do plus why would i want you to touch my hair again?!
