I traveled from GA this past weekend to attend the memorial service of a dear friend. The service was published to be at 2:30 p.m. I was informed as I was on my way to the service, that Dean Kate Morehead had just decided to proceed with the memorial service because the meeting which preceded the service had ended early! Read moreMy husband and I have been members of the choir at St. John's Cathedral since 1981. My husband and I love the music program there. Both our former choirmaster/organist, John Barry, and our current one, Tim Tuller, are amazing musicians. It has been and is a privilege to work with both of them. We love the Anglican style choral music. I love to play my cello in the services from time to time. Our choir has made two pilgrimages to England, singing services at Ely Cathedral, Westminster Cathedral and Canterbury Cathedral. We also went on a pilgrimage trip to Washington DC where we were in residence at the National Cathedral. The congregation at St. John's contains some of the nicest people around and we always welcome newcomers. Hope...
