Good Beauty Hair Salon Chicago — Attraction in Jefferson Township

I did not have a great experience with this salon. I actually went here in June of this year and didn’t feel inclined to write a review until now. I asked for a cut, all over color and money pieces. I was a little hesitant with getting so much done at once by a stylist I’d never seen before but I stayed optimistic. I asked for a darker color to cover grey hairs - preferably a cooler tone because I do not like red tones in my hair, blonde money pieces, and a slightly shorter cut with layers. Immediately after the service, I did not like how my hair looked. It was not a flattering cut on me at all, and was much shorter than I would have liked. The color that was used on my hair faded into a red toned brown not even a week after treatment, and the money pieces were sooo brassy. Now that my hair has grown out, I can see a very distinct point in my hair where it is significantly more red toned than my original hair color which was explicitly the opposite from what I asked for. I was a bit hesitant at first trying a new place after quite some time, but I do not regret my decision!

My hair stylist, Carla, was amazing and patient with me the moment I walked in and right before I left. She made my hair look and feel amazing and as well as making me feel comfortable with my first visit.

The establishment is extremely clean and well organized and, if anyone was curious, they do adhere to COVID rules and regulations. They instruct you to wash your hands first before signing in along with taking a temperature with a no skin contact thermometer. They also wash up and wear masks and gloves before taking care of you.

Also, the music they play is freaking great!

I tend to be cautious trying out new places especially when it comes to my hair, but her easy going and helpful demeanor and made my visit extremely relaxing and overall exciting! I cannot wait to come back and get a clean up done or try a new hair style.
