Midlane Esports — Local services in Jefferson Township

I was in a bit of a bind with my laptop not working out for a WoW Classic Raid that I was committed to and was frantically looking for an eCafe in the Chicago-land area. I reached out via Midlane's Discord server and Adam was immediately responsive and helpful. He told me to come a little early since they had a few other events and when I arrived the staff was quick to set me up and get me settled in.

The computers were well built and the internet was fast - what more can you ask for?

Some Highlights: Bar with a nice selection of beer GREAT atmosphere full of fellow gamers (This is probably not typical but) There was a couple events when I visited and the staff offered me some free/leftover food. SUPER THOUGHTFUL! I got to semi-tune into a Smash tourney that was pretty HYPE. :) It was TWELVE DOLLARS to play all day... an absolute STEAL IMO.

Negatives: None (really!). I've been to a few eCafe's (we called them LAN arcades back in my day) that are riddled with cleanliness issues, bad/gatekeeping clientele and staff... and Midlane Esports had NONE of these issues.

All things considered, the next time I'm in the Logan Square area (honestly I'd travel again just to do it all again) I will absolutely make Midlane Esports a priority to patronize again.

Stopped in last Friday to finally check this place out and I have to say, this might be my new favorite bar. My buddy and I are big League of Legends players so we decided to see what Midlane was all about.

I got a good feeling as soon as i walked in. Super friendly staff, everything was SUPER clean, and everyone was masked up which made me feel more comfortable. Since we had never been there, we got a little tour of the place and the vibe of the staff was awesome and their excitement and energy was contagious. I immediately was stoked to be there.

Throughout the night we'd talk to the staff about gaming and life during covid, among other things. By the time we left i felt like i had gained some new friends which isn't something I've felt leaving an establishment in a VERY long time.

Overall 10/10. Even if you're not into gaming, this place has a great beer selection and such a positive vibe. I can't...

We booked my son's 13th birthday party that included 24 kids at Midlane Esports and it was an amazing experience. It was the perfect activity for teenaged boys and the venue was really impressive--plenty of screens and a wide variety of games available for them to play. We had a huge group and so had a private party time and it was great because smaller groups of kids at the party engaged in different group games with one another. We worked with Adam to book the party and he was great, having ordered pizzas for the group and asking questions about whether certain games they requested were OK with us. The pricing on the party was amazing, I was so pleased with everything. A few parents stuck around to wait and we enjoyed drinks and conversation at the bar while watching games.
