-- PARRY UPDATE-- If I could update my review and give Uppie Yuppie 6 out of 5 stars, I absolutely would give them 7!
We hosted our son's 3rd birthday party here this past weekend, and it was nothing short of exceptional! Even though I left a 5-star review about a year ago for their amazing playroom experience, I felt compelled to come back and share just how incredible it was to host an event here!!
We had over 40 guests, ranging in age from just 5 months to over 70 years old, and every single person had a fantastic time! The play space is clean, safe, and fun for all ages. Even the adults were thoroughly impressed — many said it was hands-down the best playroom they've ever been to, far surpassing other venues they've visited in the past. It's been two days since the party, and I'm still getting messages from guests telling me what a wonderful time they had and that they plan on visiting the place again (many of our guests don't live in the neighborhood and said it was well worth their 20-30 min drive to get there!)
A huge shout out to Jenn, one of the owners, who went above and beyond from start to finish! From the initial conversations before we even committed to booking the event, to planning the details, she was kind, attentive, thoughtful, and truly cared about making the day special for us and our little man (a little example that was just the cherry on top for me: playing the Minions movies on the projector to match our birthday theme, without my even requesting her to do that!) They even allowed me to drop off some larger balloon decorations the evening before the party, which was such a huge help. On the day of the event, Jenn was there to welcome us and made sure everything ran smoothly so we could just relax and enjoy. Her personal touch and help with the set up made all the difference!
Hosting at Uppie Yuppie was one of the best decisions we made — they truly helped create memories we’ll cherish for many, many years to come. I cannot recommend them enough for birthday parties AND even just a fun day out. Thank you again to Jenn and the whole team for making our son's birthday so magical! 🥳 ❤️
OLD REVIEW -
We have been meaning to visit this place for quite some time and now I'm kicking myself for not doing it sooner!! Hands down, an ABSOLUTE FAVORITE for our family!! Our very busy 20-month old was soooo excited and did not stop for a minute, exploring every single fun thing this place had to offer. From walking in and being greeted by the friendly staff, to the wide variety of play options, bounce houses, movie room, to the special balloon treat we got on our way out, everything was great from start to finish! The owner, Jenny, was extremely sweet and friendly, and made my wife, son, and myself feel very welcome. An additional huge bonus for me was that the place was so so very clean which is something you don't see that often at places like this -- I'm talking not only the toys, but even the inside of the bounce house was spotless and not leaving you with an icky feel on your hands when you walk away. They have a nicely sized nursing area away from all the running children where you can nurse or change your little one in peace. There is a separate toddler area for the younger ones, dramatic play area, books, magnetic wall, floor projector where the children can jump/stomp on the images, and so much more! Lastly, they have snack and drink options, as well as ice-pops and pizza for purchase -- and the best part is that it was all absolutely normal prices, not overly inflated as most places. $12.50 per child (no pay for adults) and you can stay as long as you want! Absolute gem, and HIGHLY highly...
Read moreThrew my son’s first birthday party here and as far as the place itself it is super cute and fun. All the kids left having the best time! They even had a toddler room for soft play (where the birthday boy himself spent majority of the time) and was entertained by the cool stuff they had in there. Overall the expectations were met as for the kids. Now as far as accommodation this is why they are getting two stars. They first called me a night before the party (around closing time) to talk about what type of pizzas and drinks that I wanted to order that were included in the party package but then when I asked to call back because I was still deciding for a sec they wanted to rush me and say that it has to be before they close because they need to do the order by that night etc. like then maybe be on top of it and call at least a few days in advance not the night before so you can atleast mark that down and have it . Know how to time manage properly. You are a business. That two, I booked this spot months before my son’s birthday party and since the party was going to be in October I was told that my party could enter in a Halloween costume competition to win a free party ! So ofc I made sure to tell my guest to dress up to impress and they showed out! Only to be told the day of the party when my guest and I were already there that we won’t be involved in the competition because the owners didn’t have the equipment to take the picture because they were at a trunk or treat event and they just apologize. They did say we can come the next day to take the picture for the inconvenience but in reality who has time to come on a Sunday at that to do re dress up and re do all of our Halloween makeup etc..? And on top of that we had to pay to renter . It was just a sorry ass solution. That too prices are a bit reasonable but they CHARGE for every little thing which is a bit excessive. $40 fee charge if you pay with card for payment I have never heard or witness that big of a charge for using card I know there are small fees but not that $40 is crazy!! That too they cater with bacci’s so when we were on the phone talking to the manger on the pizzas we wanted for our adult guest because mind you the party package only includes pizza and drinks for the kids ONLY and if you wanted to order food aside from that you can which is fine I understand that but what I don’t understand is if you want to order liters of soda with bacci’s pizza it’s a no ! That we had to order drinks with them and get charged $2 or $3 a soda can and god knows what for the other options they had . Like do you not know how much money that comes out to be per adult? Or just overall per person in your event? We were told if we wanted to order drinks that aren’t through them even if we were already willing to order through them since they catered with bacci’s that we needed to pay the $50 fee to just bring our own food and drinks . All we needed was a good 3 Liters of soda for our guests and they couldn’t even be accommodating on that given that we were already spending hundreds of dollars for the party itself. So we just paid the $50 fee and brought everything and everything we wanted and still catered through bacci’s just not through them and bacci’s had really good deals that ofc they weren’t promoting. I don’t know it rubbed me off as money hungry and not actually caring about the costumers experience and leaving with a good experience AT THAT! The manager wasn’t sympathetic at all and even tried having a nasty attitude with my mom. Probably won’t come back but all I could say it was fun for the kids!!! But wouldn’t recommend to throw a...
Read moreWe recently hosted our daughter's birthday party at Uppie Yuppy, and we couldn't be happier with our choice. The space was perfect—it's large enough to have a variety of activities, bounce houses, and playrooms to keep kiddos entertained; but it's not so overwhelmingly large that you lose sight of your guests (especially if you like to socialize with the other parents).
We rented the double room, and are very glad we did; even though a few kids wound up not attending, there were still about 15; the extra space was very helpful to hold parents, our own family members, and the food.
Speaking of the food, the food from Bacci (the designated food service) was great. The party package included pizzas, but we ordered a few additional items. The pan penne bolognese and chicken tenders were especially well enjoyed. The pizza was really good, too, and we learned that the 18" pizzas included in the package feed a lot (so we probably didn't need to order extra of those). Only issue with the food was that it arrived 15 minutes late, and kids were hungry by then; it was an order from a third-party though, so we don't fault Uppie Yuppy for that.
Jennifer was responsive throughout the planning process, and the staff was helpful and attentive throughout the day of the party. Our guests seemed to have a great time as well, and many parents told us how impressed they were with the space.
We know we'll be back to enjoy some indoor playtime during cold weather season. Thank you,...
