Management needs to train their cashiers better on how they are supposed to deal with customers. It seems like this company hires just anyone these days. Went there today and the cashier, (a little girl ,Caucasian I think) with glasses had a bad attitude and wasn't friendly at all , miserable like she didn't like her job. There are plenty of people in need of jobs. Not a good look for Target. She seemed upset because I was checking out and i took her away from her phone. I shop at this store a least 4 times a week and every time i see these cashiers on their phones while people are in line paying . Not professional at all. These cashiers at this location need proper training for customer service skills , and attitude adjustments or just hire new people that are willing to work and treat paying customers respectively. Update since last review. Now they have their front entrance blocked and closed. Do they know there is a senior living building across the street from them , and now these seniors have to walk around about a block and a half to get into the store. Not only is this a fire hazard , or should be illegal to do so in case of an emergency, customers or employees have only one entrance and exit. If this is due to theft than hire security not some 16 yr old watching on her phone what is going on in the store. This place is ridiculous and i will not be shopping here any more and will be contacting corporate and the alderman's office about the main entrance not being accessible for shoppers and an exit incase of any...
   Read moreThis review is in regard to Target security. I am a victim of a fraud, and a $500 spree was attempted here. In addition, my phone and other valuables were stolen. I understand that there is a certain protocol that must be followed, however, security (the male one) was extremely hostile and unsympathetic. Not even a "sorry that happened to you" but just a straight up aggressive tone "YOU ARE NOT GETTING YOUR VIDEO TODAY." Honestly, I do not even care about the video anymore. I just cannot stand that security personal for the life of me. If you are going to have a job in customer service, maybe know how to talk to people. I work 10-hour shifts, 5 days a week and I had to go to Target, and I still managed to keep my composure. What is your excuse? Next time, let someone know KINDLY that you are sorry that happened, but unfortunately a detective must provide a subpoena, and that number should be available on the police report. You can call 911 for more information on the zone. Where the crime was committed determines the zone. You could have been helpful, but instead you were just hateful. I do not even care about what happened to me anymore because that is how upset I am with the treatment I was given by this individual. Absolutely horrible! He made me feel like I was a crazy person.    Read moreWent here with my girlfriend because she wanted get some skin care and hair die and the first thing I noticed is that this target is very shady I dont get good vibes at all and most of the skin care stuff was opened or leaked and even the the hair dyes were opened on the top and leaked all over, she went to look at the makeup area too and she was going to get a lipstick that she always uses and I got a bad feeling in my gut and told her to open it and it was used and had a small hair so I told her to look at the other ones and the rest was smashed and looked used, we looked around more at the self care aisle and all of the products were either opened or damaged or spilled. I dont know I dont think ill be going here ever again 🤷🏻 everyone seemed so shady and the Starbucks is mediocre at best everyone felt like they hated working and I didn't feel welcomed and I felt like I was intruding. Overall very shady target and I've been to a lot of targets but this one is the worst one...
