Mr Submarine — Restaurant in Jefferson Township

Disgusting! It has been a while since I have had Mr. Submarine, but always loved it. Never again from this location! Philly cheese steak had little bits of steak, not even a quarter of a pound, it is dry and salty and then they put American cheese! Not provolone or mozarella which is standard. Some people like American I am sure, but it is not right and places that put on American give you options for those people that happen to like American (yuck!). The fries are shoe string and were like eating plastic and my sons meatball sandwich had almost no marinara. I had a 6 inch and my son had the King, both were pretty weightless, which is odd, they were traditionally heavy. Cheap with the ingredients and inferior...sigh. Nothing is the same anymore everywhere and they are over charging for less ingredients and inferior quality. The only thing that was okay was the potato salad which tastes like the Grandpa's you get from jewel, but I paid 3 bucks for a tiny cup of it. so two sandwiches (one reg one King) 1 fry and one potato salad set me back 30 bucks, plus delivery for a total of $40 and to get garbage! Save your money and go to subway, they taste better!

Beyond the worse experience I’ve had In a very long time, slow service, totally disorganized. Seems like they can’t get anything right, stood there for 35 minutes for a 2 hot dogs, a sub, 3 chicken tenders & an order of mushrooms, not a huge task or order. Should have realized the issue while standing there waiting on my food, Several people came back in complaining about their orders. Once watching them pack my order I realized they didn’t put in my tenders,I reminded them & that took another 10 minutes. Then looked in my bag to realize that i didn’t have my mushrooms either. The guy then stated he didn’t get the order, looked back at the ticket and asked if we wanted to wait or our Money back. I took my money back, I wasn’t going to wait 45 for my order. I’m not even sure if I trust that they’re handling food correctly with the amount of issues this place...

I always come in and get my Reg Combo sub with everything on it and hot. With fries and a drink, of course. Things changed with new owners. The combo sub is still great. It's just smaller, and for sure, it's different bread. Fries are mediocre, like others have said. It's not crispy enough, and it needs to be cooked longer. It's still edible, though, but it's not my favorite by a long shot. Service is good. They acknowledge you when you come in. Tables have be cleaned after every customer. That's my rule. Sat down at a dirty table, but I was too stubborn to move. Nonetheless, it should have been wiped. Maybe they'll do better, maybe they won't. I'll still come visit when I'm hankering for my favorite sub. Unfortunately, there aren't too many Mr Submarine around. I always ate at the Lincoln Park location on Fullerton, but that's a...
