This place is just down the street from our office. I tried this place twice in the last week because it was so good! First I had "the plate" (which is an appetizer sampler) and the kefta pizza - everything was perfect. And they give very generous portions. The special bread that comes with 'the plate' is exceptional. Last night, I tried the combination platter (with different meats) and that was incredible! There were 2 items I tried for the first time, which I never had before. I also had an order of hummus, which was literally the best hummus I ever had! So flavorful. Guys who specifically are use to eating Zabiha halal, this NOT the place for u. When I asked questions to the owner he was very rude, told me to walk out and don’t care if he loses customers. He got offended when I asked him where he gets the meat from and never answered nor does he has the certification. He told me every body who is selling meat in Chicago saying zabiha are cheating people and they are lying. He talking about the whole world and pointing figures on others but never said anything about his purchase of meat. For a simple question he made a drama and told me to leave ..so happily left. I was very pleased with my order. I got “The plate”, with a nicely portioned assortment of hummus, falafel, delicious green sauce, grape leaves and other delicious things, and a tefta(lamb/beef) sandwich, that came with a perfect sized salad on side. Definitely had lots of leftovers. They give a lot of food for what you order and on top of that, it tastes delicious, & fresh. Even on my 10 minute walk back home, my food stayed warm & still tasted good.

Their desserts are amazing, & they had a wide assortment of pastries and beyond. The staff/owners were very nice & welcoming.. :) Will definitely be recommending to others...
