Unlike the rest of the people who’ve been here I had a subpar experience. I walked in for a simple outline tattoo and was introduced to a tattooist that I believe to be named Tay. He did not introduce himself and gave off a vibe like I was wasting his time. I should’ve just left but I really wanted a tattoo so I decided to stay. After sending him a picture of what I wanted and where I wanted it he came back with a stencil that was way too big that it was almost over lapping with my other tattoo and when I wanted it resized he seemed frustrated. After placing my stencil he said he’d be right back and left me in my seat. About 10-15 minutes later he comes back in letting in a blast weed smelling air and set down his cartridge box. I don’t mind people smoking but I feel like he should’ve let me know what he was doing instead of leaving me sitting there not knowing what was going on. After waiting he’s finally ready to start and I let him know that I just want it to be a simple outline with no color and not to color in the hair because I didn’t want all that black to overpower the rest of the tattoo which also seemed to annoy him. All in all it was an awkward experience because he did not speak to me and also answered a call in the middle of my tattoo which did not seem professional at all.

I just recently had my last 3 tattoos done by Jaxie and I'm BLOWN AWAY! My first 2 were relatively basic, although one was a teeny-tiny ghost with swirls, that look perfect considering how small I had her make them. The newest tattoo is based off a famous painting by Kirchner (Streets, Berlin). She KILLED IT. It looks like it came straight off the canvas. She made smart tweaks to the artwork, but still made sure to keep it painterly like I had asked. I cannot say enough positive things about my tattoos and Jaxie's professionalism and talents. She's incredible! The studio itself is clean, and has several fun personalities in it, sitting around is pretty entertaining here. So thrilled that I have a new go-to artist and location for my future tattoos, and will continue to spread the word about this joint!

Honestly this tattoo shop was pretty cool. The inside is overall aesthetically pleasing and really clean. The artist are all super nice and pretty welcoming, it can be intimidating going into a shop when it's all men and you're a lone woman. But I was helped right away and with my idea in had, it took my artist about 25 minutes to prep and then I was in the chair. The whole shop is also very lively, all the artists talk between eachother so it's good noise while you're getting tatted. It's very hard to find a good tattoo shop normally and I honestly have found my go to. They don't charge per hour with your artist and they're very reasonable with prices. My tattoo cost only $200 as to other estimates I was getting were about $400-600. Good art and good prices.

This is the best damn tattoo parlor in Chicago. They have the most artist in all of Chicago. Every single artist in this place is GREAT. They all have their special talent but everything they always do is CUSTOM work. What you want, the way you want it and they will continue to work on your drawing until youre satisfied and ready to get down to it. I have even went in just to hang out and they have never told me to leave or anything like that. The owner Jimmy is a straight up easy going and loving guy. I've seen thousands of Tattoos and thousands of happy faces leave this place. This place is amazing. They have artist who specialize in everything: animals, nature, skulls, portraits, graff, b&w, color, etc. Whatever you are looking for this is the place to definitely check out. I have read some comments about some of these artist refusing work and let me tell you what a bunch of bullshit I think that is. They have more than 10 artist in this place. Some of these guys are appointment only and the rest who do walk-ins are usually always busy with someone. So if you can't wait and you're a walk-in set up an appointment for a for sure date and I guarantee you wont be...

I've been going to this shop for quite a few years now, and I must say, the atmosphere is amazing. It's a very welcoming and fun environment to be in, everyone's super nice and everyone's really good at making you comfortable. My artist of choice is Albert Smart, and I recommend him to anyone looking to get some work. I've never had sessions, like the ones I've had with Albert. He will have you in tears from laughing, not the pain, lol. He's very creative so if you have an idea but not a full blown piece, he's very good at listening to what you have and putting things together for a cohesive piece you're guaranteed to love! Smart isn't just a last name to him either, because you can literally talk to him about anything from movies, history, music, life experiences, etc, and he's either seen it, read it, watched it, or learned it. I've always had such great conversation while sitting in his chair, no matter what the topic is. Then before you know it, your session is over and you're already thinking of when to book the next one. Love the shop, love Albert, highly...
