Baltic Art Studio — Local services in Jefferson Township

I can’t say enough great things about Baltic Art Studio! My first introduction to Baltic Art Studio was attending a group class with friends. I loved how organized the workspace is set up and how easy it is to find what you need (such as a specific glass color). Once we were given an overview, which included: how to use the tools, safety, ideas of what to create, and shown some design ideas/samples… we all went to work. I loved to see what everyone came up with! The final pieces were such a variety of items which included small glass trays, coasters, jewelry, and sun catchers. I later reached out to Evelina to possibly work with me to create a piece to honor my mom. I wanted to work a small amount of her ashes into the design. Evelina was wonderful to work with me. I came into an open class and did my own thing. Of course, if I had any questions or concerns, Evelina was right there to help. Because of these wonderful experiences and the beautiful pieces that I created, I contacted family members and was able to schedule up a class with them. After moving into our new home we came across a large stained glass window in the garage that was broken in several places but looked like it could be repaired if only we could find the right place to do it. We found this stained glass studio in Jefferson Park and we decided to bring the window in and see what could be done. Upon careful examination, the woman who runs the studio along with her father, Evelina, decided that the window could not only be repaired but also restored to it's original form. To make a long story short, Evelina did a magnificent job in repairing and restoring this window and it now looks absolutely incredible. A work of art. I live in a 100 year old six flat in Roger's Park. In 2023 it was decided that the stained glass transom window over the main entrance to our building needed to be restored. I sent an RFP to five different studios. Of the five, only two made the requested site visit to ensure that the defined scope was clearly understood, one of those two being Baltic. Baltic submitted a very competitive number and was awarded the job. Baltic was very responsive and professional throughout the entire process, even sending periodic photo updates of the restoration.
