This was a interesting night...came to this IHOP with a few friends Friday night during Black Friday. The establishment was completely empty, which was great, we thought it would lead to us getting our food faster. We were the only customers that night from 7:30ish to about 8:30pm. We were greeted by Maribel. She seated us and asked if we were ready. We told her we needed a few moments. She walked away giving us time. 2 minutes passed than 5. We were ready to order. We called and waved to get the servers attention. After a few more minutes we raised our voices a bit to get their attention. The other waitress named Narcisa started to walked over and shouted I hear you as she walked away from the conversation she was having with Maribel. This caught us by surprise as it was said in a tone that was clearly agitated. she went around the table taking our order. one of us asked for the tilapia, she abruptly stopped him and said we don't have that anymore. he changed it and asked for a shrimp, again she said they don't carry that on the menu anymore either. finally he settled on a breakfast dish. i ordered the Colorado omelette and asked if i could have American cheese instead of cheddar. I Also asked if they could omit the Shredded beef. She told me that would be a extra charge. I've been ordering the same thing from IHOP for years and this I never was told. we asked if we could have the bill split. she took the menus and walked away. oh year, when she brought the drinks she spilled water on one of us! didn't even bring a extra napkin. clearly this waitress was having a bad day. when the food came she dropped off my omelette with 4 huge cold slices of cheese on top. i asked why wasn't this heated with the rest of the omelette? she said we cant heat the American cheese you asked for . i kid you not. didn't even offer to microwave it. i questioned her and she took the plate back and came back a few minutes later with the cheese melted. we asked if we could have warm Syrup and she told us the machine was down. yes, the machine for warm syrup was down was her response. we asked if we could have it microwaved. she grabbed the bottle from the table and heated it than walked away. never came back. never refilled water. Maribel checked us out. the entire hour we were there they were both on there cell phones. Not even giving us the slightest attention. at check out the entire bill was added together although we asked from the beginning to have it split. she than only could ring us up order by order. Narcisa stayed sitting at the booth the entire time on her cell phone not showing the slightest care. i legit felt as if i was robbed. i can't believe we paid for that service. i never experience that type of service before. i would love to be contacted by a manager over this experience. wish i could give 0 out of 5 stars. the pic shows them on their cell phone while we were trying to get their attention most of the night for basic...
Read moreI don’t even know where to begin with how awful my experience was at this IHOP location. I’ve eaten at various IHOPs over the years and usually have at least a decent experience, but this place was hands down the worst dining experience I’ve had in a very long time.
Let’s start with the first thing you notice when you walk in: the smell. A sour, greasy odor hits you the second you open the door — like old fryer oil mixed with something rotting. Not exactly the scent that gets you excited for breakfast.
Then there were the flies. Not just one or two — I counted at least six buzzing around our booth and the tables nearby. They were crawling on the window sills, dive-bombing our food, and even hanging out on the syrup containers. It was genuinely disgusting. I felt like I needed to bathe in hand sanitizer after just sitting there.
The cleanliness of the place was a joke. The floors were sticky, the table was greasy, and the bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a week. Toilet paper all over the floor, overflowing trash can, and an odor that almost made me gag. I would have left then and there, but we had already been seated, and my family was hungry.
Now let’s talk about the food — if you can even call it that. My french toast was undercooked in the center and weirdly rubbery on the outside. It was like a big block of bread that only was slightly cooked on the outside and completely dry and tasteless on the inside. We tried to bring some of our concerns to the staff, but they were either completely indifferent or outright rude. When we asked politely if we could move tables to escape the swarm of flies, the server rolled her eyes and said, “All the tables have flies — it’s not just yours.” No apology, no attempt to help. Just attitude.
The real kicker, though, was the owner or manager, who finally came over when we asked to speak to someone in charge. Not only was he unapologetic, but he was also arrogant and dismissive, essentially telling us that “if we didn’t like it, we didn’t have to come back.” No effort to resolve the situation, no acknowledgment that anything was wrong — just this smug attitude that made it clear he didn’t care about the restaurant or its customers.
And you know what? He’s absolutely right. We won’t be coming back — and I’ll be warning everyone I know to stay far away from this dump. There are plenty of places to get breakfast without having to dodge flies, eat garbage food, and deal with rude, careless ownership.
Save yourself the time, money, and stomachache. This IHOP is a filthy disaster, and it should be shut down until it meets even the most basic health and...
Read moreThe following is the complaint I'm making. Once I arrived home, I found my order to be incorrect. The breakfast family feast is supposed to feed a family of 4. My order included everything but I was short 4 strips of bacon and 4 sausage links. I called the store to inform them that my order was not correct. I explained to the associate the situation with my order. Instead of being understanding and provide a solution, he kept arguing despite what I told him what was advertised on the website regarding my order. I then spoke to the store manager and reiterated what I had already told the associate in regards to my order. The conversation with the store manager was not any better because his behavior was rude, condescending, unprofessional and argumentative. As a store manager he should have been less defensive and more apologetic instead of making me feel as if I did pay for what I ordered. His response to my complaint was, "we have been serving this breakfast without any complaints for the past 3 months" he completely disregarded what the website advertises and continued arguing with me stating that his store only included 4 strips of bacon and sausage links when it should have been 8 of each. With all other restuarant options, IHOP seemed as the right choice for our family of 4. Unfortunately due to this unpleasant experience, IHOP will no longer be our...
