Although the food is great here, the inconsistency of fulfilling orders is less than par. I have ordered on multiple occasions to only be delivered partial orders. Once contacted this final time, the receptionist stated that they, “Try to double check orders,” but more or less alluded to the fact that they are way too short staffed to handle the orders that come in. I realize, of course, that so many businesses are short staffed, but maybe they should not accept delivery orders then? Maybe they should not be open as long of hours to limit the demands? Maybe they should lessen their menu items so it is easier to get things correct? There are several options to make a restaurant work with limited labor. Simon Tacos had not figured it out. I was told they can not deliver the other items and can only issue refunds which really is not all that good of an option when you’ve got food for only a portion of the people expecting to eat the order. I was honestly so exited to find this place because it seemed like a small, family run, single location restaurant, but with repeated inaccurate orders and with no change in sight and minimal empathy expressed in the issues tonight, I will not be a...
Read moreThe first time I tried this place when they first had opened I wasn’t really feeling it because they only had flour tortillas 🥴. The second time I went I liked it because they had the corn tortillas. After that I’ve gave it a couple more tries and the meat is either under cooked or over cooked. This one time I had asked for the meat well done and they over cooked it too much and some meat was burnt and hard to chew on. I also usually get my tacos with meat that’s filled with oil so my tacos turn out to be a bit soggy and with a lot of oil 😕. Their horchata isn’t good at all, tried it multiple times. I’ve worked at a Mexican restaurant before and this one time I bought an horchata from there, it tasted like the old horchata that didn’t work anymore. Their flan is very good, but cooks need to improve. And they need to make sure that the horchata is not more than 2 days old cuz after that it tastes disgusting.
edit: food has improved. It’s well cooked now and not filled with oil like before. Horchata...
Read moreI will start with saying it was my first time here. No warm welcome and me and my family were not sure if you sit and get waited on or order then sit. Nothing is marked and no one helped with this. I got up to order after sitting for 10 minutes and ordered. More info is needed on the menu as I had to ask what came on everything. Sat down had to get back up for chips. I will say the chips were some of the best I've had at a Mex place. Salsa is also great. Prices for what you get is a little outrageous. My wife has the steak fajitas which I was told the meat was made with veggies.. those said veggies were just onions the quality of meat used wasn't very good. No one asked how it was if we needed anything else or anything. The guy that we ordered food from was on his cell phone for most of the time we were there. We finished our food and threw our things away. No one said thank you have a good day/night. If you own a place and want people to come back be warm...
