I recently traded a old vehicle I originally purchased here back in 2020 because the car was a Hyundai and being attempted to get broken into a lot and even recently stolen due to all these Hyundai and KIA trends. I originally called and Spoke to Ash to help me get into another vehicle and he asked for my ID. they ran my credit without my consent is the First issue. the second is when they were looking for a bank to get a loan for this used vehicle I was getting into I Told the Salesman Josh to check with the same bank Capital One because I have a great payment history with them and that is where my old loan was with as well. He ran it with Santander, Allybank, etc. until finally he said we got the loan with Capital One which is what I suggested Initially. So I have all these inquires on my report. Now the car I traded in before hand I asked Ash before I got the car towed to them if this was okay and if they can help me, the answer was yes which was good. I asked to please when they cut the key to let me know because I wanted to take my belongings in the car! that being said I was the one who kept calling Nissan to check for the key they never reached out. After finally confirming with Ash "yes we cut the key you can come in to get your belongings" I recently went in on Saturday and Tracy at the front desk said we are over whelmed and no one is here to help you get your belongings. I stated I was still going to present myself Physically and get my things. I advised her when I called on Thursday 4-11-24 and spoke to Ash he stated yes we have your key come in. She then sent me to service department and then they had me speak to Sal. Sal said he was on vacation and just got in and that now Ash was on vacation. He said "your car is at the auction already bud" He than made a stupid joke and stated " man looks like you got robbed twice". I retained my calm as I could not believe Nissan was basically slapping me in the face and saying your out of luck kid!. I left my cell phone and he said he had a contact at Sayreville where the car was being auctioned. I still have not heard from him since Saturday 4-11-24 and today is 4-15-24. He said well what belongings did you have in the car, I had my Car mates that I purchased personally, My phone mount, car charger, personal tax papers and W-2 forms, all things I could visually see when I turned the car in. Sal then stated well those mats are valued into the car, How could something of my personal belongings be valued into the car if they never let me get my things! What I want to know is when Nissan sells a car to any customer, do they not let the customer get his belongings from his old vehicle? and then Sal basically told me with his Stupid joke that Nissan robbed me or in other words forget about about your things. I am going to go above and beyond to get the same valued personal belongings, to make sure this does not happen to another customer, and to give a new reputation to Sal that he claims he has much of which has nothing to do with my things being lost or tossed out. Something has to give and at this point if I never got called initially to get my things its because it was never communicated from ASH to please let customer get belongings before sending vehicle off. No one called to say hey we have the key, the communication lacks tremendously. Cars Auctioned do not get auctioned with anyone's personal belongings especially W-2 forms which contain personal and sensitive information. Either Nissan threw my stuff out and got the car nice and cleaned before taking it to be properly presented at auction or someone is lying and covering themselves. I believe Nissan should have allowed me the chance to get my belongings Like I conveyed to Josh & ASH when they where able to cut the key. I will be posting here as well as Instagram, Facebook to get...
Read morecannot say enough good things about my experience working with Mr. Gary at Nissan. From the moment I walked in, Gary went above and beyond to help me not just get a car—but the car I really wanted. I came in expecting to just service my older car, but I ended up driving away in a brand-new vehicle thanks to his genuine care and expertise.
Gary took the time to truly listen to what I was looking for. I had my heart set on the Rock Creek edition Pathfinder, but it was out of my price range. Instead of pressuring me or brushing off my wants, he introduced me to something I didn’t even know existed—the Rock Creek edition Rogue—which turned out to be the perfect fit. It had the style, features, and look I wanted, without breaking the bank. He knew what mattered to me, and he delivered.
One of the most memorable parts of this experience was how patient and honest Gary was. He gave me real, thoughtful insight into the car buying process, without the usual sales pressure. He took his time walking me through options, and when the banks weren’t cooperating or were offering ridiculous terms, Gary fought for me. He kept advocating until I was in a comfortable price range—something I’ll always appreciate.
What stood out even more was the way he treated my son. Gary made sure to include him in the decision-making process, talked to him with respect, and truly made it a special memory for both of us. It wasn’t just a sale—it was a human interaction that felt personal and kind.
We even found ourselves bonding over family, car stories, and life in general. Gary made the entire experience feel natural. I never once felt forced, and he made it clear from the start that if things didn’t work out the way I wanted, he was completely okay with me walking away. That level of integrity is rare.
Even after the sale, Gary checked in to make sure I was enjoying my new car. He helped set up the app, showed me how everything worked, and even asked me to send pictures once I got my windows tinted! It’s those small, thoughtful follow-ups that show how much he cares about his customers.
While I was there, I overheard Gary speaking with what seemed to be a long-time customer, and I could tell his approach is always sincere. You can tell this is someone who is in the right profession—he’s not just selling cars, he’s helping people make decisions they can feel good about.
If you’re looking for someone who is knowledgeable, honest, patient, and truly cares about your experience, Mr. Gary is the person you want by your side. I’m beyond thankful for all of his help and would recommend him to anyone looking to buy a car without the pressure and stress. This was hands down the most genuine car-buying experience...
Read moreI would never purchase another car from them in life. Bad customer service. If I didn't have to pick a star in order to leave a review I would not had. They are straight scams. Told me one price while I was there I gave them the check from my own personal auto loan through my bank. Four days later they call to tell me my check was voided. Called my bank to find out what happened and they told me the car dealership tried to cash the check for more than what the check was written out for. If I give you a check and it says $20,000 on the check THAT'S ALL THE CHECK IS FOR! So why try to add $500 more to it without me knowing. Thank God my bank (Police and Fire Federal Credit Union) caught the fraudulent activity. Called them and no one seemed to know what I was talking about. But my bank knew EXACTLY what they were talking about. They started blowing my phone up and leaving me emails for me to replace a check after they did fraudulent sneaky activity behind my back. I replaced the check which I was totally inconvenienced. Had to go to my bank, then two different fed ex locations to send them the check not to mention I ended up paying $14 to fed ex the check. Time went on maybe 3 weeks later I was sent out a check from them for I'm assuming something that I overpaid which I believe someone from my job stole so I attempted to call them so they could stop the check and issue me out another one. They told me the check was sent out and it's been 3 weeks and I still have not received anything from them. At this point they're giving me the run around. I called my sales rep James Ayala several times and he's refused to get back to me. I called customer service left my info and no one has gotten back to me. Funny how when it was their money they called me everyday for their check but now it's my money no one is calling me back. I contemplated writing this review for a while now but I'm fed up. Poor customer service, liars, scammers, money hungry and frauds. I even tried to get in touch with the general manager Ali after he responded to my Yelp review telling me to get in touch with him and they told me he was in a meeting and took my info down for a call back today makes a week and I still haven’t heard from him either. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! I REPEAT DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! Thank...
