HEEEEEEEELL NAH! TO THE NAH NAH NAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!! Barmaid was sweet but wasn't prepared and lack hospitality and mixing skills. Took over 10 minutes to make my basic drink which was a screwdriver and I was the only person there. She had to remake the drink because she forgot to pour the correct amount of alcohol if she poured any at all. There is a leak in the ceiling near the restroom where a bucket catches the water but you still can get splattered with the falling water which if you're sitting at that end of the bar you will get splattered by it as it falls. There was water on the floor behind the bar which you can see and it was never cleaned up; anyone who runs an establishment knows that water draws all the insects and vermin when not cleaned up. The manager also lacks hospitality skills. He doesn't know how to upsell without trying to be sneaky about it which is SUPER BAD for business! He'll ask if you want a shot as if he's offering it to you for free then switches up and brings a bill. Too bad this place is...

It was raining and there began to leak HEAVILY inside the building. Management quickly went towards everything except very expensive camera gear that was sitting below all the leaking on the table.
This is a Photographers worst nightmare that your gear is wet . The Management, Nigel did not think to grab the gear or rather everything else around it, they let water fall over my camera equipment as a guest.
The bartender managed to ask me if I was OK way before the Management did and he was even kind enough to provide me some rice however, Management did absolutely nothing and said it was the first time that it happened rather than helping
Very poor service I do not recommend this bar nor will I be returning
I appreciate the bartender for trying to remedy the situation, but at the end of the day this establishment has a very poor infrastructure and so I warn you to not sit near the window...
Read moreMallory Pub is a cool little place to visit if you’re taking a walk through “Westside” (or the southwestern part of Jersey city). Any community member who walks in, with a respectful attitude, can enjoy the warm space and the attentive service. I haven’t eaten there in years but I’d bring people there to talk about ideas and plan...
