Every other day I would give this Marshalls five stars. Most of the staff are all very helpful and friendly. Today was unlike any other I was approached by a very muscular African-American male in a very disrespectful way screaming at the top of his lungs using very foul language it took me a moment to figure out what was going on him not identifying himself as a member of their staff.There were young children around looking at his outlandish behavior and children should not have to be exposed to such. As for me I am a very feminine kind and soft spoken cross dresser if this man what to sneeze in my direction I would fall down so for him to be combative with me it's quite ridiculous in itself I was in fear of my safety because he kicked my bag that I was carrying. I hope that Marshall's can do better in the future because this person is definitely a danger to others and to the company God bless the entire Marshalls...
Read moreThey had stacks of the same gift boxes of chocolate and candy at the Christmas clearance section so I grabbed a few to purchase and when I went to the cashier to confirm that they were part of the clearance he just looked at the boxes and said that they weren't and was giving me a hard time with scanning all three items to confirm that the items were not part of the clearance. I tried to explain to them that there were stacks of the same gift candy and chocolate in the Christmas clearance section and they should remove them from there if they were not part of the clearance so that people don't get on the long lines for no reason but they were being dismissive. Im not even sure they actually weren't part of the clearance because the cashier wouldn't scan the other items to check on the price. Very bad customer service...
Read moreThis evening, I went to return a perfume I bought two days ago because the cap was dented when I got home. The cashier, whose number is on the receipt, looked at me with a blank expression and said, “Who does refunds on perfumes?” I replied that no one had informed me it was a final sale. Her attitude was unpleasant, and she seemed irritated.
I then called another Marshalls location to inquire about their return policy for perfumes. The employee there immediately asked which cashier had told me that and mentioned that I could come to their location, and they would handle the matter.
I'm not sure why the cashier chose to misinform me, but it was very off-putting. This was my first time visiting this location, as I was in the area to grab a bite to eat, and my first impression was disappointing. I don't think I will...
