PD Billiards — Attraction in Jersey City

I have been to this place once the establishment is decent not in the best condition compared to most places I have been to. I would never go back or recommend this place to anyone. My girlfriend called asking what time they close and we received a very rude response. Apparently they were having a issue with some prank callers and decided to automatically associate our phone call with them with out getting their facts straight the son of the owner proceeds to go the "extra mile" and calls my girlfriends cell phone from his personal cell and continues to question us in a very aggressive manner. Almost as if he was willing to fight one of us should we had been right infront of him. Eventually I hung up because after several failed attempts to calm him down and deescalate his hot headed rage I gave up on him and their business. If they are reading this you guys need to re-evaluate your customer service strategy. I hope it felt great to take your frustration out on someone who had nothing to do with your situation. Oh and let me add how he mentioned "he dose very well and dosent need my business". That's a horrible way to run a business. If you want to play pool in jersey city stay away from these getto establishments, I grew up in jersey city and this is why I'm excited to see the changes. If you want to play pool go to south house or go to abbys it's free to play only one table but it's a real bar not a BYOB under 21 secret...

The 5 stars is not because it's the best pool hall. Its bec as use I left there feeling better. Everyone was friendly and very respectful. Nice low key spot just to kick it no bar just snack n sodas. If you need a quite spot just to get away this is it. Not loud n full of drunk people like other pool halls. U can bring the whole family here. I will definitely be back. my new spot. important to note its cash only. close by the college, byob, lots of pool tables and the best, most beautiful cat ive ever met. its so relaxed it camouflaged on the counter. its only like $8 an hour so the price is good too. the music was amazing. whoever had aux needs a raise. its in a second floor so you have a bit of a breeze too. places to sit around the pool tables too. very cozy and comfortable. i saw a popcorn machine and a nice big couch, i didnt see anything about movie nights but will definitely recommend/ask. they also had a...
