We used this facility to celebrate my daughters first birthday. Upon tour and reservation set up one month prior, my husband and I felt this would be a great experience. They made it seem so great and we weee so excited to use this location as our choice for our daughters first birthday. The pacakage included set up/clean up, pizza, unlimited drinks, and a party attendant. When we arrived NOTHING was set up. Absolutely nothing. I literally had to run around tables to set up in 15 minutes before my guest arrived. No attendant checked on us through the party and myself or guest had to go to the desk several times to request for drink refills and ballon's to be blown up (this was asked a total of 5 times because again absolutely NOTHING was setup). They had no one supervising the tots area even though we were told there's also someone monitoring that area so we had to keep directing older kids out of that area so that wouldn't trample the babies. There was another party there the same day and time who was setup by the staff, got a birthday song played when the cake was brought out, and who the mascot did a birthday parade with. They never came to us to do the birthday parade (also I was told this was included) so in order to get my daughter her experience I had to just grab her and join in on the other party's parade. I was never given the option to have a special song played and the cake be wheeled out for the cutting and singing of happy birthday. I left that day feeling as if I was a second class citizen and not welcomed. It really hurt that we paid for a great experience and memories and now we're left with disappointment as the memory of my babies very first birthday. I do not recommend having parties here unless you don't care about being treated with dignity and respect...
Read moreI have just come back from this location. I was there with my older son and my baby and needed to get something out the car for my baby and the manager said I had to take my son who is 12 with me to the car because they are not liable for him. It was two mins away. She was not prepared to assist. My baby was crying and my son was playing with a ball.
In addition I loaded $20 on the play card and left it for my son near the shoe box on the table for him to use. When we came back from the car the play card was gone. I have proof that I had paid on my card for the play card and the manger refused to reimburse my son with a new card and credits. The manager said she needed to ask her upline to check on the cameras if the card was taken. When I left she said she did not know if they had checked on the camera and trying to see if I was telling the truth and again did nothing about it. Again, I wonder who is telling the truth here..!?
I knew I had left the card on the table and my son saw it. I just felt the manager wanted me to get out of her way and did not want give my son a new card with $20 worth of credits. They also do not work with cash only card. I wanted to load cash on the play card for my son. This is also something to consider.
Please do not even consider going to this location or supporting Kids Empire! We as a family have been to this location and another Kids Empire in NJ and experienced a similar situation of poor customer service, bad language and an overall terrible unhelpful, uncaring attitude towards customers and kids!!!
I will not be setting foot into this location or any other Kids...
Read moreI visited with a 4-year-old around 10:15 am on Friday 2/19. I decided to go play because their website said all guests over age 2 were required to wear a mask. These days, that’s a top priority. We were initially the only people there, and I was really impressed by the playscapes. We both had our masks on and started to play.
The first issue was that there was no hand sanitizer in the dispenser I tried to use. Not great, but I just shrugged that off. Then more people started coming in to play, and I realized none of the children, who were obviously over age 2, had masks on. To add to my concern, the adults with the kids were not wearing their masks correctly either.
I decided we needed to leave, which was very disappointing for the 4-year-old and for me as well.
I spoke to the young woman at the desk, explaining that I chose to come there because of their mask policy, and that I was a bit upset to see they weren’t actually enforcing that policy.
Her response? “Well, it’s hard for kids to wear masks...”
I give the playscapes 4 stars, the availability of hand sanitizer 2 stars, and their willingness to actually enforce their advertised mask policy 0 stars.
If the owners ever start requiring masks and actually making people wear them, I’ll return to their business and revisit...
