I recently visited Moon Indian Cuisine and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. While the service was friendly and kind, the overall dining experience left much to be desired.
First, the cleanliness of the restaurant left something to be desiredâour silverware was dirty, which was off-putting from the start. As for the food, it was below standard. We were eager to try a variety of dishes, but most of the items we wanted to order werenât available, which was frustrating.
We started with the Chicken 65, and it was a letdown. The pieces were not fresh, and the quality was subparâcertainly not what we expected from a restaurant claiming to serve authentic Indian cuisine. We also ordered the Mixed Grill, which was another disappointment. The menu listed Seekh Kebabs as part of the dish, but we were told they were unavailable. This lack of consistency between the menu and what was actually being served felt misleading.
Overall, Moon Indian Cuisine didnât live up to expectations, and I canât recommend it based on this visit. The service was friendly, but the quality of the food and attention to cleanliness need significant...

Ordered paneer tikka masala, vegetarian Manchurian, samosa & garlic naan.
Vegetarian Manchurian was perfect like last time. Samosa is big no-no as I am not sure why they put so much mint in them - itâs like ruining the real taste of samosa. Paneer tikka masala - donât order it again, itâs like a mistake - to me it looks like they used frozen/air packed haldiramâs gravy which is available in Indian grocery stores - yes you read it right, either they changed their chef or something is wrong. Garlic naan - fresh as last time, tasted great! -end of updated review-
I would personally rate 3.5 stars for food but because of lovely staff I would rate them 5 stars. Took care of every request.
First, If you love momos, this is THE place to go. Hands down the best momos in Atlanta area. Ordered Chilli Chicken Fried momos.
Apart from momos, we have ordered Vegetarian Manchurian, Paneer Makhani & garlic naan. Machurian was near perfect and paneer makhani on other hand was less tasty. Garlic naans were perfectly baked and delicious.
Would I go...
Read moreWe (12 of us) booked the Moon Indian Cuisine restaurant for a birthday celebration and absolutely LOVED our experience there.
Our server was on point, being attentive, making excellent wine & libation recommendations and responding our various requests (poor guy đ).
Our appetizers were prepared quickly and served piping hot. They were scrumptious! I also ordered a cup of the Mulagatany soup and was delighted with it. It was the best Mulagatany soup Iâve had in a very long timeâŠperfectly seasoned, pureed to just the right consistencyâŠit was amazing!
When our entrées were served, our noses were gifted with wonderous aromas and our tastebuds were in culinary heaven with our firsr bites. Our server asked each of us specifically how spicey we would like our meals and the kitchen staff knocked it out of the park!
Our server and the Moonâs owner checked on us often to ensure we were enjoying the fareâŠ.we absolutely did!
To the one of our party, we highly recommend Moon Indian Cusine in Alpharetta! If you enjoy Indian cuisine, give your tastebuds and tummy a treat...
