This is again a terrible cinema experience. Date night almost turned into a solo night. You can buy tickets in advance online, but there are no assigned seats. If you want to see a popular movie, get there well in advance!!! What's the point of buying tickets online if it's not to secure your seat assignments? We were informed it was sold out after we arrived. We were told we probably wouldn't be able to sit together. We wanted to check to see if there were any seats together. We were then informed that we had one minute to decide if we wanted a refund. Terrible customer service, and we were barely in the building.
If you're looking for the whole Cinema experience, you will be disappointed. While the screens are nice and the seats adequate, the concessions are disappointing. We were greeted warmly and politely taken care of; however, when an issue arose and staff was approached, the issue was disrespectfully disregarded. Due to it's convenient location, I will probably be back, but I'll skip the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIt's not as fancy as the Palace Theatre in Sun Prairie, but it's also a theatre in a small town that basically services all the surrounding areas. No quality issues as far as film and sound. Looks rough on the outside but very well maintained on the inside. I would go to other theatres for those recliners, but there's one thing this place has that others don't...customer service. Customer service is dying in today's society but Bill is the biggest reason I will choose this theatre over all others (I apologize if name is wrong as I have been trying to read his name tag while he was zooming around helping everyone and when we engage in coversation i just forget to ask name cause Im focused on our conversation). He's ALWAYS very cordial, very chipper, and ALWAYS willing to help. He's so energetic and always seems happy to engage with everyone. That is what draws people back to places, the experience which Nicole Kidman advertises about at the start of every movie and for once here's a place...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent to see āReady or Notā with the wife and we had a great experience. The highlight of our trip was actually the exceptional counter service by Abbie D, like blow our minds great! Popcorn, nachos and a slushy and she offered butter and salt multiple times while filling popcorn bag (without our asking), was sociable and seemed genuinely interested in our movie choice for us and told us she hoped we liked it. This may sound sarcastic, but itās a genuine review; this always concierge level service by counter staff. We felt comfortable almost like we were at home and were welcomed back to watch another scary movie suggested for our next trip. Also, the comfort seats at the theatre are great, even with a bad back. The picture and sound quality were great, too.
Iām usually complainy about ticket and food prices, but tonight two of us spend $50 on dinner (snacks) and a movie and I would have paid more.
Freakinā awesome experience! Hope they keep hiring staff...
