Supermercado La Joliet — Attraction in Joliet

Supermercado La Joliet catered our backyard wedding on 6/21/25 and did a great job! We served tacos from their taco truck as well as a buffet that included roasted chicken, bistec a la mexicana, rice, beans, and pasta salad. We were slightly nervous about how long it would take to serve our 100 guests from the truck, but they were very efficient and everyone had their first round of food within 40 minutes. Our guests LOVED the food, and several have told us it was the best wedding food they've had. Additionally, Lucia was helpful in assisting us leading up to the day. We live in MN but got married in IL where my family is. Lucia worked with us via email/phone and did a tasting with my parents to set the menu and accommodate our guests' dietary restrictions. UPDATE 12/23/24 : IF ITS NOT BROKE DONT FIX IT...... I TRAVELED ALMOST A HOUR TODAY FOR TACOS I WAS HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED..... WHAT HAPPENED TO THE SAUCE THAT CAME ON THE TACOS IT WAS LIKE THEIR SIGNATURE..... EVEN THE SALSA VERDE IS DIFFERENT. TRASH... I USE TO LOVE IT HERE BUT ITS NOT THE SAME

everything that was in high demand during the virus- this store made more expensive! absolutely disgusting behavior for a store that is only there BECAUSE of the community- but they have the audacity to make it harder for people in their community that are IN need to stay safe during this hard time! VERY disapointed and irritated! i have supported this store almost my whole life but let me tell you, after this display of dishonorable character and greed- i wont be going back!...
