This place is a THIEF. IF U EVER NEED TO USE A SPLIT PAYMENT OPTION HERE just DO TWO DIFFERENT TRANSACTIONS INSTEAD. GET TWO DIFFERENT RECEIPTS FOR THE TWO DIFFERENT FORMS OF PAYMENT ur using, I PROMISE U WONT REGRET IT!!

I came into the store yesterday & made a purchase of 165.88. I KNEW that i may have been over buying but i’ll rather buy MORE if need be & return than to not have enough at all. I over bought on 7/1. Today 7/2 (the very next morning) i come to return the extras. I made my original purchase in SPLIT payment. 113.00 EBT followed by $52 credit card payment to cover the remaining balance. When i arrived to RETURN i was told i could only be refunded a EBT portion & not the overpayment of CREDIT back onto my credit card. I have NEVER heard of this before. Mind you, the amount that i was returning was $60. which is ALMOST equivalent to the overpayment CREDIT card portion. The grl told me she could give me $45 in EBT & $17 back onto credit card. Like WHAT. I paid $50 CREDIT. Refund the $50 CREDIT & the remaining overpayment of $17 onto my EBT. cuz Technically i paid CREDIT for the amount thats being RETURNED. She explained that they get into trouble for returning credit. I can understand if u got in trouble for returning credit/cash for a EBT only transaction but this was NOT the case. The amount of MY transaction that I WAS RETURNING was the CREDIT AMOUNT that i had spent so i should of been REFUNDED for my freakin CREDIT PURCHASE AMOUNT. if i EVER hVe to shop here & use a split payment option im definitely doing TWO totally different transactions. Cuz if i EVER need to return i will NEVER run into being scammed out of my CREDIT AMOUNT ever. After goin back & forth with the cashier & then SETTLING because i hate to look like im ā€œcausing a sceneā€ šŸ™„ im already a person of color.. i just told her to return the $50 ebt & the $17 credit. Cuz whatever šŸ™„ & i hate to be confrontational. However, now that i still sit here & THINK ABOUT IT, it still didn’t make sense cuz she ORIGINALLY told me, ā€œoh the amount ur returning is $60, whichever is more than the $50 credit & i cant split return by giving u $50 credit & $17 ebt BUT u split it to give me $50 EBT & $17 credit, the opposite šŸ˜‚ like WHAT?? y’all are LIARS. SCAMMERS. THIEVES. I pray i never have to stop here again if im in town for another function. Ive also included photos to show PROOF. That $44.95 should of been a CREDIT REFUND. The $16.89 should of been an EBT refund. …. IF ANYONE EVER NEED TO USE A SPLIT PAYMENT OPTION i suggest u do TWO TOTALLY different transactions so if u EVER need to return u can be sure to be refunded in the same way...

Updating review since it seems the issue has mostly been resolved. Originally I rated this location much lower because of the small amount of electronic carts made it difficult to shop if you needed one but they seem to have gotten a couple more now. So it’s now much more accessible if you need a mobile cart.

Anyway, this place is pretty great. The hot food is surprisingly good, we always walk out of here with some lunch or dinner. The free samples they sometimes have had hooked us each and every time to at least one item. Base prices are kinda high but there are regularly very nice sales especially on meat.

For me it’s also a great option for international food since we don’t have any other sort of international market around the area. There’s also produce and other ingredients that you won’t find most places or might have a hard time to find.

Ultimately this is a nice stop for grocery shopping in the area. It’s not the place I would go for the basics like milk, eggs, and a simple loaf of bread, since there is no reasonably cheap options for any of those, but if you keep an eye on the ads paper it’s absolutely worth stopping in at least...

I like coming here veggies are great however the people behind the meat department are rude I wanted fish cut like I wanted I was told we only cut it thick next time another gentleman I asked for rib tips because I didn't want the amount he put on the scale he threw them all back not discriminating his English was not great we did not understand each other I wanted the amount I just wanted to choose which ones I wanted after he said something in Spanish every one working with him laugh he still works there when I go there see him I don't purchase meat I did talk to the manager I was told they would play back the incident belive him then the fish incident happened I don't like eating thick cut cat fish I was told we only cut it thick check it out catfish cuts there are very thick now I am try to find a store that cut my fish I can pick out what meat I choose at one place and shop instead of...

This place is robbing people. When you go to the meat department the employee weighs your meat in one scale to show you the actual weigh but he then goes to the scale beside and the scale is off. In this case my meat was $2.99 a pound and the scale that was beside was off. It was reading $0.27 cents right from the start without any meat on the actual scale. Imagine all the people that go there and ask for several items which some of the items cost more than $2.99 a pound. At least they are all getting robbed $1.00+ and now multiple by the number of people that go there every day and multiple by the number of people that go on a whole week. You are talking couple hundred dollars. SMH! Bunch of thieves I tell you. I’m sure this was done intentionally. Upper management has to know of this scam.

Everything I've gotten from here from produce to meat to baked goods has been excellent. Huge selection of cheeses and lots of interesting imported drinks, teas, foods, and alcohol. A few months ago I had Georgian (the Republic of, not the state) food out of state and became bit obsessed with pear lemonade/limonat. This is the first time I've found a similar offering anywhere remotely close to home and while it isn't the same brand, it is damn good! Not too carbonated, just an excellent scent and taste (and I don't think it's too strongly pear, either). I highly recommend both Tony's and Bandi pear lemonade (next to the imported liquors).
