Food Smart — Attraction in Jonesboro

This is a nice cost-plus grocery store that is centrally located in Jonesboro. The cost-plus means they add 10% to the final tab of your sale at checkout. This is something I am not a fan of as I would just have my total be my total. They have decent prices although you may find better ones at larger retail chains in town. They can beat those retailers pretty often during their weekly sales, which come out every Wednesday. They have good meats and produce and often has stock of items that other places did not, especially during the pandemic when many things were in short supply. They have also added self-checkout lanes to make getting in and out of the store quicker. It's central location can make it a lot more difficult to get out of the parking lot during peak hours but overall not...

I’ll give Sophia 5 stars but I was heading to self check out and the black girl said only ten items can be scanned but serval people black and white had a basket full and was at self check out. Felt like I was humiliated due to the way I presented myself 08/12/25 at night after putting on pj’s and a bonnet. When they sold my husband ruint chicken they were very rude to him when he took it back they were very rude to him and when he went to get another package out off the cooler he realize they're all ruined he told the manager he needed to get them off the shelf and he was an absolutely no hurry and it had no problem selling people ruin chicken so my husband gets another package of chicken that isn't ruined finally and they make him pay the difference so the next two days in a row I called try to complain to the manager but every time I called which was the least six times he was conveniently not there terrible terrible...
