Glacier Salt Cave & Spa — Attraction in Juneau

I bought 5 little eyeshadows from this Spa. We got there a few minutes early and looked at some merchandise there to kill the remaining time.. saw the shadows and decided on 5 of them I like. The front desk employee wrote down my card info and that made me nervous to have all my sensitive/personal information being written down for whoever to see. Front desk employee didn’t tell me why, so I assumed it was maybe because the card reader was down. I was told how much I was going to be charged and employee said I was good to go. I put the shadows in my purse and it was time to go into the salt cave. Spent an hour in there and came out to see my personal info still on the front desk as other customers were waiting for their turn after us. Everything was fine until the next day when a text was received about a “possible theft”. And that they had cameras and didn’t want to get the police involved. How come the cameras weren’t watched before we were accused? I left a voicemail and told her in detail how my debit card information was written down by her employee IN RED PEN on white paper. And how I didn’t feel comfortable with it being exposed even after our appt was done. She retracted and apologized, which was appreciated but the damage was already done. It’s such a shame because we went there when the previous owner owned it but we will not be...

5 Stars – Best Massage I've Ever Had! My husband and I have been traveling non-stop — two flights and a cruise later, our bodies were in serious need of relief. Just two days prior, we had a couples massage on the ship that cost over \$600 and was… mediocre at best. Spa services on cruises just aren’t worth the price.

Our first port stop was Sitka, and I started looking for a massage spot in Juneau that could fit our tight schedule (we were docked from 6am to 1pm). I called Glacier Salt Cave and Spa, and Jesse was incredibly accommodating — she rearranged her clients to make room for us, ensuring we wouldn’t be stressed about getting back to the ship.

The salt cave was warm, cozy, and deeply relaxing — I may have even drifted off for a few minutes! But the real highlight was the massage. Jesse’s technique was absolutely divine. The pressure was perfect, she got some satisfying cracks out of my back, and released the travel tension I was holding, especially in my calves. I’ve had plenty of massages before, but this was hands-down the best.

If you're cruising and need a massage in Juneau, do not miss this place. It’s a little walk (20ish mintues) from the pier, and absolutely worth it. I just wish Jesse lived near me — I’d be booking with her...

My two girlfriends and I decided to treat ourselves to a girl's day trip in Juneau, and booking a session at the Glacier Salt Cave turned out to be the highlight of our day! From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted with such warmth and kindness by the staff, who were incredibly informative and sweet. They made us feel comfortable and relaxed right away, setting the perfect tone for our one-hour session.

The salt cave itself was a serene oasis — peaceful, clean, and beautifully designed. The experience was beyond what we imagined! Not only did we feel an incredible sense of calm and rejuvenation, but the health benefits were also a fantastic bonus. We could literally feel the stress melt away while the salt did its magic on our skin and lungs. It was an amazing way to recharge, and we left feeling refreshed, glowing, and energized.

I can’t recommend the Glacier Salt Cave enough! Whether you're looking for a moment of tranquility or simply want to try something unique with friends, this place is a must-visit. We'll definitely be back for more of this...
