The day before an important event, the owner called me in the middle of the work day asking if I was, "available to chat.." She proceeded to tell me that she was unable to keep my appointment with the nail tech I requested because "It wasn't a good fit" and that I had offended her on my prior visit. This is what occurred on that first visit: I asked my nail tech if the owner was truly as amazing as she seemed. she was always smiling and very upbeat. (compliment #1) The NT proceeded to tell me that in fact she was truly that nice and that she is as genuine as she seems. We agreed that was great and that it was hard to find people like that. The NT proceeded to tell me that the owner attends church. I asked which one and she named the church. I replied, "oh, I used to attend that church and its not for me. It was too large and in my case, impersonal, however, my older son still attends and enjoys it very much" (comment coupled with another compliment) IMO. When the NT was done, I told her that she did an amazing job (because she truly did) (compliment #3- and btw, I am a very complimentary person, so I am sure that my comments were entirely complimentary in nature because there simply isn't an option for it to have gone any other way. In fact, I laugh as I write a negative review (my first ever), and I continue to compliment both the NT and the owner.
I am displeased with this level of drama for a service I paid for and intended on enjoying in the future. When I mentioned that I would write a review, the owner informed me that, "the beautiful thing about a review is that she has the opportunity to reply" and promised that she would reply. explaining that she offered me another nail tech and that I refused. This is true. I will offer my business where there is more professionalism and no drams implied and placed improperly upon the client. She went on to state that she has to "protect her Nt's" PROTECT? From this? This is where she lost all my respect.
I have never experienced anything like this before and found it so incredibly bizarre. When you work with the Public, you are required to have certain skills and this NT and frankly, this owner, simply did not have in this particular case. I'm sorry that my comments above were offensive. I hope that they learn and grow from this experience because it is otherwise a...
Read moreHi I have been to this salon on two occasions. they say they don't receive these bad reviews but they are all over Yelp. I went here a week ago for a new full acrylic set. My appointment was with Liz and as she started I already saw red flags, She used liquid glue for the "PRESS ON TIPS" that are from the brand KISS. These are not "HIGH QUALITY". 2 have already popped off within 5-6 days of having them. I've been getting and doing my own acrylics done for 10+ years and have not experienced that in a long time. They messed up the booking, when I made the appointment a day in advanced. NO SALON TAKES AN EXTRA 2 HOURS FOR THE LENGTH I GOT!!" NOR DO THEY TELL YOU ABOUT NAIL LENGTH OVER THE PHONE. I was going too get really cute designs and got a butchered glitter Ombre after being told 3-4 times that I could get the nail designs. Before I left I noticed half the nails are shorter than others. the clean up was very sloppy. and the OVERPRICED XMAS PEDICURE WAS NOT A PEDICURE, their is still loads of dead skin and the paint job was messy. I'm not recommending this to anyone expecting a decent job. for $75 my feet should be shining. $135 right down the drain. the acrylic was also peeling off. IF YOUR RESIN LIGHT IS NOT MAKING YOUR HAND HEAT UP IT IS NOT CURING ANYTHING. The nail tech stated when i walked in that "I looked bougie & like a west palm kind of girl" lmfao do better. if you pride your self on nail art, throw the stickers away and...
Read moreWell here is my experience. 2 weeks ago I first came here and a gal name Bobbie did a great job so I rebooked for 2 weeks later. Same appointment time day and nail tech.
I show up at 10 and come to find out the nail tech quit and they appearently rescheduled me with someone else and failed to phone me. I asked the gal at the front what they were willo g to do as I made my appointment 2 weeks ago and drive 35 min to get here.
Her response was after looking at some notes that 1- no one phone me ( or should I say "she" ) as she was the one making the calls 2- they rescheduled my appointment to 10:45!!!! There was a nail tech who was ready to take me back and the gal in the front told her " no to wait".
She was very condensending to her. Well the end result : they were not going to accomadate and I would have to wait til 10:45!!! Needless to say I do not have time for such silliness or lack of professionalism.
I would not recommend this place as they are new and this is how they are...
