Let me start by saying that this place is a true gem for taco lovers.
Upon arrival, I was immediately greeted by the vibrant and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant exudes a beachy vibe that perfectly complements its mouthwatering menu.
Now, let's talk about the star of the show - the tacos!
I indulged in their generously-sized gringo tacos, Mexican street corn and the smoked brisket nachos, and they did not disappoint. Each bite was a burst of flavor and a true testament to the artistry of Mexican street-style food.
From the perfectly seasoned meat to the fresh toppings, every component of the meal was crafted with care and attention to detail.
One standout aspect of PapiChulo's Tacos is their fantastic happy hour. If you're looking for a budget-friendly option, make sure to visit during happy hour or better known as "Papi hour," as it offers great deals on their already delicious food and drinks.
The staff at PapiChulo's Tacos was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. They were more than happy to help me navigate the menu and offer recommendations based on my preferences. The service truly added to the overall positive dining experience.
In addition to their delectable food, PapiChulo's Tacos also boasts an impressive selection of beverages. Their epic margaritas (papi-ritas) perfectly complemented my meal and added an extra layer of enjoyment to the dining experience.
Overall, my visit to PapiChulo's Tacos was nothing short of exceptional. From the inviting ambiance to the outstanding tacos and friendly service, this restaurant is a hidden gem in the area. Whether you're a local or just passing through, I highly recommend stopping by PapiChulo's Tacos for an unforgettable Mexican street food...
Read moreHad an unfortunate experience over the past weekend, just my second time here. My wife loves your food and frequently dines for lunch. It was her birthday and I ordered her favorites for our birthday celebration. I paid online through website and even received confirmation email with estimated time for pick-up.
When I arrived to restaurant I was greeted by a staff member out front and I informed her I was there for an online order...she looked at me like I was speaking a different language. She informed me their WIFI was not working. I asked how that affected my order and she stated, "I don't really know." She went inside and when she came back out she said, "we didn't get it, but they're working on it right now." I asked if I should wait for my order and she said (rudely), "yes, I said they're working on it right now."
After about 20 minutes of waiting, a different staff member came up to me and asked if I was waiting for an online order. I repeated what happened earlier with her coworker and she repeated the news about their WIFI being down. I asked her why I was told to wait for my meal if the restaurant never got it. She didn't have an answer. I asked to speak to a manager and she told me she'll go get him. I waited for another 10 minutes and no manager ever came out to speak to me.
I understand technology issues, but I find it hard to believe that a manager couldn't come out and explain the situation to me so I got a clear answer. I also am not sure why they couldn't take my order and make it while I waited outside like any other patron.
I left empty handed with a sour taste in my mouth - also left with no dinner for my wife's birthday. Not a great experience. And we are still waiting on refund from...
Read moreThe beta feature asks what I recommend but does not offer all the things I ordered. I would recommend anything here, my top picks for next time are the birria and tuna poke tostada.
Basically everything I have ever ordered has been fantastic and we have been back multiple times. The tacos are always great - I always wind up able to pick two that beat a third one, but even the "loser" is good. Today I had the spare rib taco (birria), the Brussels sprouts taco (repollito), the tuna poke tostada, and the street corn. The repollito was today's "loser" but it was still quite good. It just couldn't measure up to the spare ribs with melted cheese and broth to dip it in or the awesome fusion of the tuna. The street corn was served in thirds of a cob, each on their own skewer which made it easy to share (though I didn't) and less messy to enjoy. Delicious seasoning, good texture. I also shared the yucca fries which I had had before - delicious. My husband had the short rib empanada, puerco, and barbacoa tacos (ordered without cheese), plus his favorite Smoke/Chill cocktail. There was about a fifteen minute wait for our table, but the waitlist viewing feature here on yelp made that super easy. We were seated at a giant table outside, felt like there was lots of room around us. Bonus, everyone brought their dogs today so we got to see no less than 7 adorable doggos parade past us, all very well behaved and sweet. Both inside and outside tables are great. When it is hot they have fans mounted everywhere to turn on. Today was nice and cool - fans and umbrellas not needed. Bathrooms have the best flamingo wallpaper. If you're into mirror selfies wear something that goes good with black, hot...
