Guys this people deleated my review so I’ll post it again and I hope it is helpful. I'm going to be very honest. First, we got lost! It was so difficult to find the location that we got lost for about 30 minutes. We do not recommend snorkeling on the main beach because it is under a bridge, which is dangerous. Also, we don't recommend bringing a lot of things because you will leave them in a trailer and there is no bathroom available; unless you feel confortable doing your necesities in the forest. Once our trip started, the kayaks were good. They were safe and comfortable. Well, the weather wasn't the best, it was very cold and the wind didn't help at all. The water is not at all what the photos show, honestly, the water was dark, a little dirty and not very clear. We didn't see any animals. We only saw a baby starfish and shells. The beach where we stopped on the tour was good, but not as wonderful as the pictures show. The tour takes place in the open sea and on the sides you can see houses. The best thing about the tour was Adam, the tour guide. He pulled our kayaks in the sea when we were tierd, he made funny noises to call the manatees that never came out, but after all, Adam was very kind and loving. The experience is good, but guys, it's not like the pictures show at all. Maybe in other places the experience will be better! We came all the way from Miami expecting something more, however, it is a fun experience to do with your loves ones, because defenetly the company is the thing that saves the tour. Honestly our group did not had the best experience, that is why we are not sure of repeating this tour, however I am happy for you all who had a wonderful experience with this tours. We booked this trip with high expectatives because we were celebrating a birthday, the birthday girl really wanted to spy some manatees, and supously it was the manatee season, however...
Read moreOkay, but I would not do it again. If you have nice weather it's a perfectly fine-- but we didn't get what we expected.
Pros: -Nice, safety-conscious guide -Clear instructions from the company regarding directions
Cons: -The views were lack luster -The clear bottom kayaks were a bit scratched on the bottom, so we did not see much under the water line unless you looked out the side where it wasn't scratched -Also the beach erosion is being stopped by huge ugly black barriers that don't make for good photos The wildlife/environmental experience was lackluster - you can't control animals, but we only saw some tiny fish and the most exciting find was a floating piece of trash that we thought was a jellyfish The exercise/duration was not very good. The details say 2 to 2.5 hours-- we were out 1 hour and a half We started late. The directions say late arrivals will not be accommodated. We arrived at 740am, 5 minutes before the stated arrival time of 745am for an 8am tour. We did not leave until 8:15 because late arrivals arrived at 8:03 after the guide had started putting their boats away The company emphasizes tipping as if its mandatory and their guides won't survive without it. Tipping is great for a good experience, but it should not be a mandatory thing. "Survival" for the guides should be built into the cost of the service. The company sends you texts at late hours to complete liability forms, it's a nuisance. I understand completing liability forms is necessary, but you should be able to opt out of receiving such messages, and it takes only a few minutes, so doing it day-of, on-site...
Read moreDecided to celebrate my 32nd birthday with kayaking, which I’ve never done. I chose the Jupiter location based on reviews and for it being known to have beautiful waters. I live in PSL, so the drive was about 40ish minutes.
Dustin and Tammy were fantastic guides. You couldn’t have asked for happier, supportive and inviting people. I was even running a little late, as I am a nite shift nurse and arriving on time to anything early in the am is my ultimate weakness. Tammy was very reasonable and accommodating.
The day was perfect. Sunny, warm, and crystal clear and calm waters. It wasn’t crowded at all! We had the perfect setup!
It was an awesome intro into my birthday experience.
I was a solo kayaker, and had no issues whatsoever. It can be a bit tricky to try and turn yourself, but once you get the hang of it, your golden.
The water was very shallow in some areas due to low tide, so we were able to walk with our canoes. Perfect scenery for picture taking. The mangroves were also amazing. Seeing all the oysters made me hungry. 😂😂
We also got to see a couple manatees go by as we were returning. They were swimming under our kayaks.😊😊
Also, they provide life vests, but not really needed unless you absolutely cannot swim to save your life. I’m 67 inches and the water came to my knees a little. I’m also an average swimmer. There were also sections where the manatees were that were deeper, but nothing crazy Iike ocean deep.
Thank you guys for the incredible and peaceful birthday...
