
I've been attending WMU hockey since it was a club and played at the municipal rink downtown. We've been buying ticket "packages" for over 30 years now, but are done. I'll never buy another one. Everything is all about money. From the sponsorship, to the alcohol sales, and now the parking is the straw that has broken my back. Parking lots that we've been parking in for years is off limits and the people who guard the entrance are some of the rudest, most belligerent service people I've ever encountered. We ended up parking at Miller Auditorium, having to cross over banks of plowed snow, and walking in roadways with heavy traffic and slush. We're both alumni and over 70 years old. Screw this. If they're making so much money it's time to remove their tax exempt status; it has no relationship...

Also they had bathrooms for men's and women's just down the hall. Inside Lawson Ice Arena. It was very loud and packed over the weekend.
