Just wondering if anyone knows why the creek that is right next to the dog park wasn't included in the fenced in area? I know I'm not the only person with a dog who loves the water and having access to swimming would make this spot so much better. It's a nice spot with some very gentle changes in terrain, completely fenced with a little dog play area. Not a ton of acreage but enough space so all the dogs aren't right on top of one another all the time. Poop bags are provided and there are two entraces. My dog and I will be going back, really hoping some access to the creek can be provided...
Read moreMy dogs and daughter absolutely love going to the dog park. How they chained the gates absolutely drives me mad. I used to go there almost every day before they made it into a dog park and now I cant even run my dogs because they made it the dog park. Also I have noticed that some people bring there dogs and sit on the bench and play on there phones like there at day care and NOT watch there dogs... this is annoying to me especially if there dogs get aggressive or try to mount my dog. I actually interact with my dogs and bring my own toys and water. However the park is set up...
Read moreThis is a terrific dog park. It has over three acres and two elevations. Your dog can really run here, while you walk around and or socialize. Has water and poop bags.
I would ding it for lack of one policy however, and it's a personal peeve of mine. I think that there should be a policy of no children under age 8 in big parks like this. When adults have to watch their knees as groups of two or more dogs go whizzing by, I cringe when I see toddlers off on their own away from their parents.
