My family went into montana club for my daughter’s birthday dinner, we’ve never had an issue all the years we’ve been going there. But last nights service was by far the worst we’ve ever had. My daughter and I ordered the soup and salad for 13.99 and the birthday dinner was the chicken fettuccine and my husband ordered nachos. The order went in at 4:50pm and by 5:34 another server finally brought out our food. We got served chicken cesar salad ( which we did not ask for but we didn’t know the portion size of it and if it mention anything about chicken we were waiting for so long we didn’t bother to ask) and no soup I had to ask for it and our server brings out the tiniest bowl of soup I’ve ever seen! Not only that but the chicken on all of our plates was served cold and rubbery! None of us even ate 1/4 of the chicken that was served to us. Then to make matters worse he brings us the check to my utter shock he charged $43 for the two cold chicken cesar salads we didnt ask for!!! and $32 for cold fettuccine??! And then goes to say he gave us the soup for free and didn’t charge us and that we got chicken on our salads so we should be fine with the bill!!? I’m sorry but we ordered the 13.99 meal, if you charge 13.99 for salad AND soup that means you charged us an ADDITIONAL $8 on top of what we ordered!! We were so over this servers lack of attention to detail we just left. $92 for waiting 40 minutes and being served cold rubbery chicken we didn’t ask for, come on montana club hire better servers ( only male sever on bar side with dark hair and ponytail) And to make that all worse we all had stomach aches 30 minutes later!! Don’t think we will come back after this horrible experience. I’m guessing they won’t make it right either.
Update: A week later I finally got ahold of a manager who was willing to send me out gift card and make it right!
Last Update: After a month of back and forth I received only a $25 GC for my $94 order that made everyone sick except my husband. After thoroughly explaining I wanted a refund or GC in that amount. Advise to anyone who may have similar experience settle before...
Read moreIncredible service, prices, food, and menu. The manager at the time, Phil, had our group of eight seated, serviced, and spoke to us, not only incredibly nicely but had been the server for our group on our previous visit. The menu is extensive, yet the resturuant has the uncanny ability to make any dish featured with exelence and precision. Our table was that of a circus, and ordered pinapple juice, six diet pepsis, iced tea, lemonade, and water, with it all out—and appitizers—in a flash; mind you, the resturuant was regularly busy. The atmosphere of this resturuant is spectacular. While the casino is next door, it has no impact on the dining experience. The tables are well situated and the enviroment of the resturuant is well designed. On my first visitation of this restutrant, only a week previously and being served by Phil, I had only ordred a salad, while I watched my fellow peers order dishes ranging from prime rib, to seafood with pasta, to chicken parmasean, and for the appetizer, 16 wings with sweet and spicy terriyaki sauce. Not only did I finish my first diet pepsi, but Phil, the amazing server and hardworking manager he is, brought me two more as a joke and I, well impressed, downed them both and continued my aspartame journey. Now the chicken wings. I don't know what magic the chefs of this resturuant whip up, but these wings were absolutely delicious, hot, well seasoned, and fast. They looked EXACTLY like the image on the menu, with sesame seeds and green onion. I finished six. When the dishes themself came out, needless to say, I was thoroughly impressed. Each dish had been so incredible and true to deescription, not to mention the DEAL with which the prices accompanied these entrees, and with this—the dinner, fit for a rustic feast, was completed on my first visit. Also on my second one we ordered creme brulee and I dont know how or in what world these chefs learned it, but the huckleberry creme brulee was...
Read moreMy family has frequently come to your establishment over the last 10 years and our joyful experiences have turned unpleasant in the last 5 visits (just in the last 6 months)... Today was unfortunate as we expected things to be different and special on a father's day Sunday. Staff was overwhelmed starting at the door with a lady in her 60s, completely aloof trying to manage and coordinate the crowd via a hand held device. She was running things like she was on cruise control robot mode and wasn't even enthusiastic or helping with the priorities of the functioning of the restaurant as she aimlessly paced all over. Over 100 people eating in the dining room and not one service employee to be seen. Maybe 10 people on staff to take care of hundreds lol it was a living nightmare. Disgusting dirty Dishes napkins silverware piled up all over. One bartender to service hundreds while taking on an 8 table section as the bar waitress?!? Lol 😂 We found it unbelievable that this was the scene today. We sat patiently while waiting for a drink at the bar while observing and when we hit the 15 minute mark and werent even acknowledged by the bartender we had enough and needed to walk out. The amount of dirty dishes, lack of hand washing, and amount of opportunity for food borne Illness to spread was significant and quite unbelievable and shocking to us all. No tenured staff or management to be seen...only newbies barely trying to keep the ship afloat with no sense of urgency at all "0" Zero sense of urgency! I Wish the health inspector would have walked in today. You all should be ashamed of yourselves and should have just closed for the day if you cannot manage the place at a safe and efficient standard. My family will never return and hope everyone thinks twice before going here. Sad day on my father's special day. Insert throw...
