Really love Aldi’s. This is my first time ordering grocery delivery from their app though and I didn’t love it because it wasn’t giving me options that I know are available in store (I totally get that this is just the nature of shopping online vs actually going in) but also - my only complaint is that my groceries really wreaked of cigarette 🚬 smoke upon delivery 🫠 even my fresh produce and do it was really unappetizing. Not sure if there’s a way to make sure groceries are delivered in smoke free cars or if that’s even a thing. I’ll probably just skip using this service all together to ensure that doesn’t happen again but yeah that was my only complaint.
Oh- and it’s also not clear, when selecting fresh produce that you’re only getting 1 item, not 1 pound. It makes you believe you’re ordering per pound but you’re not so only for one banana, 1 apple, 1 orange. And that was kind of inconvenient but it...
Read moreWorst Northland location. For a few reasons. Won't be back. For as big as that store is, it has way less than the N.Oak store. And the employee (guy) who rang us up, made 3 mistakes ( double ringing the items) on the receipt, so I send my 18yr old daughter to go get it corrected. He has no other customer but tells her to go get the items, she assumes he means the ones she bought.... So she comes outside & gets them. I say....that it weird. When she takes them back in, he says to her...YOU WENT OUTSIDE, You could have just gotten them in here. BUT he had watched her walk out the doors & he said it condescending, like she was stupid. Like you had no customers AND SINCE it was your fault cashier guy...you should have gotten off your ssa and gotten the items! 6 guys working....only 1 cashier....and he was worthless. Then trying to leave was a pain....bcuz you...
Read moreCan’t say enough good things about this Aldis, and well, Aldis in general! I love that it’s not too big so it’s not overbearing. Things are easy to find because of that too. Second, the prices are great! I can get a full weeks worth of groceries from anywhere between $55-$100, usually somewhere in between. That’s really good. The line for checkout is long because they only have probably 2-3 staff members on the clock at a same time I would think, maybe an additional manager. That is one big reason they’re able to keep prices low. To all the impatient shoppers (I saw a real piece of work guy today), stop being short-sighted and use your head; that’s one of the reasons you’re able to get a weeks worth of groceries for $50. Go shop at Hyvee or anywhere else if you can’t wait 5 minutes 🤦♂️. Impatience is a disease. I love aldis! The staff...
