This relatively new facility appears to be well maintained but not what I consider an airport referenced place - closer to 10 miles away. Not to worry, there's more confusion. The review gaps I discovered during my weekend stay prompted my post. Most notable to me was the lack of ADA operating front doors; all three. I comprehend a security need but sadly during my stay, they had NO push button operating doors for either entry nor exit at all three door sets. I've seen places where only the left or right door is push-button activated with switches on interior and exterior, just not here. I wonder how they passed code inspection. Our room included a commercial grade, continuous covered, vinyl type flooring, making dust & clean up easier but one of the two queen size beds squeaked with any motion - possibly bad for our guests below but we managed. Our bathroom exhaust fan demonstrated the dusting doesn't start from the top and work it's way down (see the pictures), and deliberately avoided checking any elevated horizontal surfaces; open closet area & kitchen. Their kitchenette required BYOU/ce (Utensils, cookware, and cleaning supplies) in addition to your ingredients. Oddly I neglected to associate the kitchenette with extended-stay differentials; less staff, fewer cleaning visits (some 1-per-week), etc. I wonder why one would spend over 130$ per night for an extended work trip @360 daze, maybe (like us) location, location, location. I prefer to focus on the positives: exceptionally friendly staff, one-switch-all-off, auto-on bathroom light (disappointing for some midnight users) with automatic closing hinges, great IT support for uncooperative devices not want to play nicely for name/rm# authentication, and an overflow of eating options (KC staple?). We concluded our visit successfully despite a few inconveniences.

This is the best place in the Northland without a doubt. Take it from me. Go to hotels.com do whatever you have to do. Totally worth the extra to not stay in Liberty.

Found out this hotel was just built. It looked pretty! But we had some negative experiences. This is the first time in my life that I've ever been to a hotel that didn't provide a tiny bottle of hair conditioner. They said they flat out dont carry it. I didn't know I needed to bring my own toiletries. There were 3 bed pillows, so I could prop myself up to watch TV but my husband couldn't because they said they also don't carry extra pillows. The bed frame was SO creaky and loud that any time one of us turned in bed, the other would wake up and we were worried the other guests would hear it since it was that loud. There was only a bedside table on one side of the bed, so i had to find my phone and glasses on the floor when i woke up. There looked to be brownish red blood spots on the shower curtain, which is super gross. The location is poor: both nights there was an abandoned shopping cart near the parking lot that belonged to someone homeless, so I was afraid for my safety at night getting into my car. Unfortunately since the hotel is new, everything in the room was off-gassing so we had to deal with chemical-induced headaches because they don't leave the doors open to air out between guests. Also, we adjusted the thermostat but the heat didn't kick on for 20 minutes, so that was weird. The kitchen faucet squirted sideways onto the counter, so we couldnt use it since water would get everywhere. However, every staff person was very nice and warm. And I chose this hotel because the rooms have hard floors, which are more sanitary...

I would not recommend this place to anyone. I booked a one night stay a week in advance for the dates of September 23-24th. I booked it on the booking app. I have had mis haps before where when you book with a third party, it messes up. I was traveling from 4 hours away so I did not want to chance it, so I called 2 hours before leaving my location to CONFIRM my booking. I called the phone number listed and spoke to a man who confirmed my booking and told me I was good to go. I had the email confirmation number and everything but I just wanted to double check. I arrived in Kansas City about 1030 that night. I got to the hotel and they could not find my booking ANYWHERE. They said they had no record of it. I gave them my confirmation number and everything, still couldn't find anything. They then informed me that they were booked for the night anyway as it was a busy weekend in KC. I said "There's nothing you can do even with my confirmation number." To which both ladies basically told me no that there was nothing I could do since there was no rooms and that the reason this probably happened was because I booked through booking. When I CALLED and HAD a confirmation number. They were very unhelpful with this and seemed too worried to help a young girl who came from 4 hours away out. I would not stay here at all. I have only had one other problem with booking.com so to blame them is ABSURD. Don't give people confirmation numbers if you aren't even going to abide by them once...
