This is a great Latin cafe in Kansas City, Missouri, hanging around KC, waiting on that plane that hasn't taken off from Florida. So I'm on Google trying to occupy my time. I found something with that Latin vibe. I'm missing Little Havana, no lie.

So walking and the whole vibe were on point. A diverse group of people. The decor was slammin!! All I could do was 😃 😊. Now, after I was stunned and amazed at this jewel I had found. Time to order.

Personally, I'm all about the art in my latte. Low and behold, they make a Café Con Leche!!! Now I'm like how they gonna bring it. Are they the real deal, or are they just trying? The pastries talked for themselves. Can they bring it. I've had enough Cuban food in the last year, that's nuts. Anyway, she set my little glass to the side with my art in it. That was a first for Cuban ☕️. If you know, you know.

So I took my goods to the outside seating. After a few 📸 I took a sip. My eyes 👀 Hey Now!!!! They took me there. I'll say they got me on the plane for take off. 😉 There's nothing like Cuban Café in Miami. These guys, I'll be back.

They also support the community. Check out some of the literature on the walls. They are definitely putting it out there. So if you want a chill spot( a whole Vibe), yeah, this is the spot....

We were attracted to trying the drink flights here, and were not disappointed! We tried all three flights (lattes, mochas, and yerba mate), each with x3 drinks of different types. The drinks were excellent and we shared and taste tested all of them. The yerba mate 🧉 was very interesting visually, but the least impressive taste-wise (still decent). They are very similar to your standard tea offerings. The lattes were stellar. The mochas were fantastic as well, but definitely the best tasting (chocolate + espresso) amongst the three flights. The spicy cacao mocha was especially great!

We ordered some empanadas to try as well. The apple empanada was good, but the breakfast empanada was disappointing. It was small, and proportionately mostly dough. I'd be willing to try it again and assume we just got a bad one though because everything else was pretty good.

The shop has some branded merch as well that was really on point. A little expensive, but everything looked very nice and well made. I'm planning to go back and get a pride shirt I saw there!

The atmosphere is great, and there is a patio in the back. I would absolutely recommend Cafe Corazon for a day date with someone special, a quick hangout with family and friends, or nice place to knock out some work...

Quaint cafe setting in a lovely old KC neighborhood. Clean, neat, plenty of seating indoors and outside. Friendly staff. I had the mocha flight, featuring all three of their specialty mochas. You won't find them anywhere else. The Mayan mocha is spicy, leaving a little heat behind after each sip. The Aztec mocha had cinnamon and spices, a perfect blend. The Mocha Sevilla, with orange zest, was vibrant and refreshing. None were overly sweet, and are made with specially sourced ingredients. To go with the flight, I had the breakfast empanada and a pork tamale. The empanada had light crust and a lovely egg, bacon and cheese filling with a side of tasty salsa. The tamale had fantastic heirloom masa and a slightly spicy pork filling, perfectly cooked and delicious. My wife had the Spicy Mayan mocha and the chorizo burrito, which was not overly large, but full of eggs, rice, beans, cheese and chorizo. She said it was maybe the best breakfast burrito she ever had.

Highly recommended cafe, they have a wide variety of specialty beverages of Latin American heritage. We'll be back the next time...
