Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Kansas City

I am speaking for 5 people right now, and we all would give Papa John’s 1 star for horrible delivery. We called the Papa John’s nearest to us in Westport to order a pizza. They told us we were out of the delivery zone, but we could order to 55th St. We then called 2 other Papa John’s, and they both told us to call Westport. We decided to call Westport back. We went to our friend’s house on 55th St, which they said we could deliver to, and gave them the address. They then told us we couldn’t deliver to 55th St, but we COULD order to 54th St, contradicting himself. This made us very upset that we talked to the manager. He told us multiple times that 55th St. was out of they’re boundary. We asked where we could order from, and the manager did not know. We talked a bit longer until the manager concluded the phone call because of the question we asked. The question was ‘how old do u think we are?’ He never answered, and just hung up....

I ordered the New Italian Hero Pizza which has onions, banana peppers, roma tomatoes, salami, and pepperoni. The ingredients were not cut properly. Tomato chunks were giant. Onion slices were way too thick. And the banana peppers were cut long ways instead of cross sectionally like normal. The size of all the cuts took over the pizza, which made it difficult to eat, let alone enjoy since all you were tasting was a mouthful of onion/pepper/tomato.

I expect a consistent standard from a chain pizza place, this was probably one of the worst put together pizzas I've had from Papa Johns.

The last two pizzas that I bought from this chain, at the same location, were not as good as usual. I don't understand what has happened with a quality at Papa John's. The last piece that I bought there with hot and fresh when I received it, but the flavor was something atrocious compared to usual. The only thing that tasted like normal was the pepperoni. I only ate half of the pizza and I threw the other half away. Next month I'll give them one more try, and if things aren't improved, I won't go back there again. I'll get my pizza...
